Nice house lots of problems - Renters beware
The location and design of the property/pool are really good. The property manager Prado was very responsive. However, we arrived to find out the air conditioning had gone out and it would be days before they could fix it. It is summer in Menorca and very hot. Each bedroom had a wall unit that blows out air but could not keep us cool. We are a group of 10 and everybody was very uncomfortable and did not sleep well. The advice given was to keep the doors open which resulted in mosquitos and flies everywhere. In one of the bedrooms, we contained a small scorpion without harm. On top of the cooling issues, we did not have any hot water for the first 3 days of our 7 day stay. We also lost all power twice as well. The electricians were very busy! Prado was very responsive and after us asking, brought a couple of fans to help with airflow. We asked for compensation and were denied. The response was 'book next year and we will give you a discount'. No thanks. Renters beware.

Querida Sra Rohini, primero de todo le agradezco las palabras que ha tenido hacía mí porque mi intención siempre fue que tuvieran unas buenas vacaciones.
Sí es verdad que hemos tenido unos problemas de electricidad pero esto ha sido debido a la gran cantidad de personas que nos estaban visitando en el mismo tiempo en Menorca y la gran cantidad de gente que había en la casa con todo enchufado al mismo tiempo.
Tenemos que darnos cuenta y aceptar que el cambio climático está aquí y desgraciadamente ha venido para quedarse. No pueden pretender poner el aire acondicionado en 16º porque aquí, no funciona así. Se que siempre que vienen clientes de USA pretender poner el aire 24 horas a esa temperatura y aquí no va así.
Siento su descontento pero hice lo que pude, ciertamente, Villa Gaudina no es villa para ustedes, necesitan otra cosa que aquí no les vamos a ofrecer.
