Newtown is also home to Theatr Hafren, one of Wales’s premier theatres, which showcases a wide variety of entertainment, from comedy shows to opera, offering something for the whole family. Explore the ruins of the Norman Motte and Bailey castle in the beautiful old county town of Montgomery, wander the Grade I listed formal gardens at the renowned Gregynog Hall, or visit the world-famous Powis Castle and Gardens, often frequented by Prince Charles.
