Beautiful Villa 25 mins to Disney

Magnificent home settled in a protected conservation area backing onto pond with all of Floridas natural wildlife. Enjoy the peace and quiet of being away from the tourist areas but close enough to easily get too.
You will have sole use of the 3 bed 2 bath duplex within our own vacation home, no one else will be there when you are here. Enjoy floating around on the large pool in complete tranquility. Please note the living room and kitchen & 2 bedrooms are on the 1st floor. Plenty of parking and close to local shops including Publix & Walmart just 5 minutes away.

Host is great, property is very clean & nice. The pool area has a nice covered patio. We enjoyed the various birds and the gator who lives in the pond that abutted the property. We would stay here again. The setting is nice, quiet & private.
If you like bird watching, this is the place.

The only problem is the egg (sulfur) smell to the water. We ran it for a while and the egg smell literally never went away. I absolutely would not stay here again solely because of the smell in the water, we all smelled like eggs after showering. Additionally, it turned my fiancés sterling silver jewelry brown! We let the host know on day 1 of our stay, and she essentially said she didn’t want to pay to have someone come check it out, and could we go outside, look at the plumbing, and try to fix the problem for her? That is a bummer because this is a very nice place to stay aside from the smell. There is hard water staining on the drains, it’s untreated well water Also the hot tub pictured doesn’t work, heads up.

Very disappointed with your comments. I simply asked you to have a quick look in the tank outside to check there was water in there as it was Friday afternoon when you contacted me and I couldn’t get anyone out until the following week ( I did try) but if the tank was empty, I would’ve asked a Neighbour to come and sort it for you. You never came back to me so I assumed everything was okay. We have Well water so there is unfortunately always a slight different smell as we are not on city water if there was a problem and a major smell then it would’ve been sorted immediately for you. How do you come back to me? but I didn’t hear from you. As for the hot tub there is no hot tub in the description of the property. There is a hot tub in the pool but it is not for guest use therefore I have not included it in the description at all.

We are an English family and have owned the house over 20 years. We have done may upgrades including resurfacing & tiling the pool just last year.
This is our holiday home & I am really fussy where I stay so ensure everything is perfect for ourselves and our guests.

Why they chose this property

We love the area as it’s far enough away from the busy tourist areas but close enough to easily reach ass love Disney attractions. We are right in the centre so gorgeous Florida beaches either side of us just over an hour away.
The house is on a 1/2 acre plot so plenty of room to run around. Our neighbours are lovely and look out for the house when we are not there.
