From the windows of the house we can see the Douro River, the Infante bridge and the D.
Luís I and the old Dona Maria Train Bridge.
The Clérigos Tower and Avenida da Liberdade are a 20-minute walk away.
The house is close to everything that is important to see/visit in the city.

This very charming place is on a steep hill and has a narrow interior circular staircase. (The bathroom is on the same upper floor as the bedroom, so you don't have to manage the steps in the middle of the night.) We were able to use the stairs and walk the hill without problems, but this is not a place for anyone with mobility issues. The view of the Douro River is wonderful and we were able to walk to all the attractions we had planned to see.

The view from the outside bench is beautiful, bridges, river and boats and it was clean. It’s in a good location to walk to the many sights of Porto but you do have to climb up or down a very steep hill to get to and from the apartment. Because the house numbers were not consecutive and it was down and behind the street it was challenging to find. Instructions from the host would have made it much easier to find. We had a problem with the internet on day one which was finally resolved. Reading was difficult because there are no bedside lamps, just four bright ceiling lights. We think something was wrong with the hot water because we had only 3-4 minutes of hot water when showering. Even with the steep hills we liked the location and enjoyed watching the boats, runners and walkers.

Emplacement incroyable. Mini logement. Très difficile d’accès avec une voiture. Rues très étroites et en pentes très apiques. Sinon vue incroyable. À noter, il n’y a pas de grille-pain et la quantité d’eau chaude est minime.

Côte de l’immeuble : escalier et salle de bain à l’étage.
