Chalet da Nogueira is a small mountain house recently renovated, which is recommended for hikers, practitioners of mountain activities and those who want to be away from urban centres.
The house has an area of 40 m2 on two floors. On the upper floor, there is a bedroom with a double bed (160x200 cm) and a common area with two single beds (90x200 cm), which can accommodate up to 4 people. On the ground floor, there is a small living room, kitchen with a dining table and a bathroom.
Outside, there is a porch, a backyard with a barbecue, a parking area, an area for washing bicycles and hiking boots and an agricultural land with fruit trees.
The house is at an altitude of 780 m and can get cool on winter nights. Therefore, electric heaters and extra blankets are available.
The house is equipped with a fridge, washing machine, dryer, stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi (with 4G router), TV with international channels and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay.
LOCATION
The house is in a small remote village surrounded by forest.
There are no restaurants or services in the village. At 2.8 km there is the Bar-Restaurant O Pinhal. There are small grocery stores less than 4 km away and supermarkets 5 and 9 km away.
Access from the main road to the house is via 1.2 km of unpaved road, which requires a vehicle with higher ground clearance and the driving speed must be reduced. In periods of rain, a vehicle with 4x4 traction is recommended.
A few kilometres away, there are impressive cliffs, mountains, and Laurel Forest for nature lovers.
For hikers and mountain bikers, there are forest paths nearby, as well as recommended walking routes and mountain bike trails a few kilometres away, namely in Paul da Serra.

Cleaning is done before guests check in and then there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes the change of bed linen and towels. To increase the frequency, an additional cleaning service must be requested.
As it is a rural area, there is potential for noise caused by dogs and other domestic animals in neighbouring properties. There are also insects in the surroundings that can be attracted by food scraps.
The accommodation is officially registered, meets the requirements to ensure safety and comfort, and has a complaints book controlled by local authorities.
CONDITIONS
1. Parties or behaviour that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10 pm and 8 am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.
2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.
3. Self-check-in with flexible arrival time is available via a key lockbox whose code is created and sent on the day of arrival. For face-to-face check-in, it is necessary to schedule the time and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be scheduled according to our availability.
4. Guests may be required to present identification upon arrival and provide missing identification details to comply with legal requirements.
5. The number of guests must be informed in the reservation and can be changed up to the limit of the capacity of the accommodation with an additional price. From 2 guests, the price increases by up to 10% per guest.
