Situated in a rural setting, Meadow View is the ideal retreat to get away and relax. Located in the village of Carnkie surrounded by countryside.. All on the Ground Floor:

Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Air source heat pump central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Rear courtyard with garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: This property is not suitable for people with mobility issues due to the many uneven steps to reach the property. . Welcome to Meadow View, a newly converted barn in 2023, sleeping four in two bedrooms, with large, exposed beams adding character to the modern finish. The kitchen is well-equipped, open out the table and you will find the chairs, just pull them out when you want to eat. The living room, with exposed beams, has a log burner and comfy sofas, ideal for snuggling in with a good book on a cold winter evening or watching one of your favourite programs on the large TV. Outside is a small courtyard, ideal for morning coffee or watching the magnificent sunsets - you feel that you are on your own as you are surrounded by fields. There is a large lawned field in front of the parking area, with football goals ideal for a game, or just running around.
There is so much to do in the area including remnants of the copper mining industry that made Redruth one of the richest mining areas in Cornwall. If you go into Redruth town you will see the old clock tower, historic buildings and various statues celebrating the history of the area. The Great Flat Lode is within walking distance from the property, ideal for walking and cycling and follows part of the Basset Mine Tramway. You will see some of the finest remains of engine houses and other structures as you wander around. The imposing Carn Brea rests at the top and if you climb up you will be rewarded with spectacular panoramic views, including parts of South Croft mine which was the last Cornish mine to close.
If you are looking for beaches, Portreath is the closest just over 5 miles away, or Porthowan beach just over 6 miles away. Alternatively visit the pretty village of St Agnes with its beach and coastal walks. A visit to Heartlands in Pool is 2 miles away, making it a great day out for all ages with indoor and outdoor activities.
