Really helpful accommodation team and a great location
The location was great. Right above a very cool and reasonably priced wine bar (Vino Olio - Il Goccetta) and pasta places. We stayed with 2 adults and 3 teens.
Federico and Serena were really helpful with any requests and recommendations. Would definitely stay again.
Great sized apartment in a really classy part of Rome.
We had a lovely stay over the festive period in this very large apartment. This is a very nice part of town with classy bars, restaurants and coffee shops that aren't very touristy. It's walkable to most attractions. The heating worked well which was important in December and was very comfortable for two teenagers.
The location is very good. We walked to almost everything we wanted to see, and only used an Uber to get someplace on a tight time constraint. Both times, we walked back. There are some quirks…third floor with the world’s smallest elevator (but at least there is one), the wash machine didn’t work, the oven was a mystery, and the shower is just screaming out for a curtain. Maybe this was a wet room, but then where was the floor drain? Overall, we’d stay here again just for the location.
Our family of five, including three teens, stayed at this lovely Campi dei Fiori apartment in July. Pros:Very close to everything. You can walk most places in less than 20 minutes.Large. You can definitely spread out.ComfortableGood kitchenCons:The bathroom- The hot water was sporadic at best. The water fluctuated between scalding and arctic blast. Even given how hot we were during the heatwave, the water was way too cold. However when the hot water finally kicked in it was burning hot in a split second. No amount of fiddling with the handle, letting it be, or spacing out showers worked. Additionally, lack of shower curtain meant that water went everywhere.
The pros: good location, walkable, good restaurants nearby. Comfortable beds, air conditioning, spacious.
The cons: check in process isn't great. You have to meet someone to get the keys. We had to wait outside of the property for some time before we were able to check in.
The kitchen wasn't well appointed to cook in. No spices, olive oil, etc., limited kitchen gear. The bathroom had drainage issues. The bidet didn't drain so that was unpleasant. The tub was also slow draining. The bedroom in front has zero privacy from the bedroom next door with the large window between the two rooms. Overall, the property needs some attention and TLC.
4 beds and 3 bedrooms at an affordable price. Great for families.
We are a family of 5, including 3 teenagers, and recommend this apartment. It’s difficult to find an affordable apartment with 3 bedrooms and 4 beds, where one bed is not a pull out couch.
Excellent location. Steps from cute shops, Campo di Fiori, walkable to Trastevere, the Vatican, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon. Very easy to take transit.
Our greeter Flavio was punctual, very friendly and gave us many local recommendations. He was also responsive over WhatsApp.
They also addressed issues relatively quickly. Eg:
Someone stole the fire stick, which meant that the TV didn’t work. They came by with a new fire stick and installed it the next day.
They realized that they overcharged us the city tax and rectified it. I would not have known that they accidentally overcharged me but they brought it up and the boss even personally delivered the refunded cash to us, with a bottle of Prosecco and treats to make up for the inconvenience.
This is last point really important to note because it shows that these hosts are very honest!
Good location
Comfy beds
Check in was mega quick - told he had another party waiting and could not stay. No information given about the area or what to see ( as was advised)
Shower does not work
You could see the knob to make it work had been glued back in several times.
If you could get the water to run it was either so hot or so cold you couldn’t stand it.The contact chap was informed but he acknowledged our communication but did nothing about it.
No plug for the home made bath so couldn’t use that either.
No shower curtain - very slippery on floor particularly risky for my heavily pregnant daughter.
Advertised as fully fitted kitchen - we booked cos we are all cooks and location so close to the food markets. It was a joke - able to heat things up but no way an equipped kitchen.
Air conditioning was mis - sold. We arrived when temps about 34 -there is air conditioning in living room and the two single rooms - otherwise remainder of the rooms incredibly hot
Overall - good location but the property did not deliver as promised.
We would not stay again
Spacious, fantastic location, problems with shower
Pros:
LOCATION- walking distance to everything. Could not ask for a better location
Host- he met us on site and was super helpful during check in
Spacious- huge. Each teen had their own room and we did as well
Cons
You now might be asking, why 3 stars with those pros? The shower. It was awful. I should have known when we needed a tutorial from the host (who by the way was really nice and really tired to make us feel at home). But when I say awful, I mean awful. So bad that my teenage daughter wouldn't wash her hair our entire stay and I was strategic about when to wash it. First, it was very difficult to turn on. My husband had to come help me every time. Second, there was no pressure (not a huge surprise but this was really bad). Third there was no type of wall so when you go in everything will get wet (which is crazy because again, there is not water pressure), and last it went from scalding hot to freezing cold over and over. Of course it was over 90 degrees so not taking a shower was not an option. It was rough. The floor was also broken while we were there. We had to put a chair over the area to make sure we didn't fall over it when walking to the bathroom. He did say they were fixing that.
We also had a few issues with the payment going through, but it worked out so no complaints
Again, huge and amazing location. IF they can get get this shower situation fixed this place would be AMAZING!!!! However, with the current situation we wouldn't stay there again.

Good afternoon Melissa,
Thank you so much for your honest feedback, we really appreciate it. We're sorry to hear that you had some issues with the shower, we will be sure to have our handyman fix this as soon as possible. We hope to host you again soon so we can make it up to you!
Thank you, kind regards,

- we arrived in mid afternoon hoping to get some rest before dinner, when we were shown in, only one of the four beds were made, master bed had a big yellow stain on the mattress, we waited 3 hours for the beds to be covered with sheets.
- day 2 we got locked of apartment as lock was problematic
- we were told to just close the door and not turn the key.
- I asked that night and afterwards that the lock be serviced by a locksmith so we don’t get locked out again. My request was repeatedly ignored.
- Apartment was broken into and we were robbed of our possessions and valuables. No signs of forced entry, so either a lock picker or more likely someone with a key.
- I called the police and asked for assistance from wonderwheretostay to help me when police attend, they replied they were not available.
- I requested locks be changed as i did not feel safe after intruder ransacked our luggage and robbed us, request to change lock was refused. We moved to another place to stay.
- Apartment is not secure: agency has keys, owner has keys, multiple assistants have keys. Even a handyman has keys - light in the bathroom wasn't working and I requested this be fixed and it never was, but they said a handyman has a key and can attend when I'm not home, I requested he not enter without me there.
- Travel Insurance not covering jewellery and cash stolen.
-Wonderwheretostay refusing to offer any compensation.
- Attempting to resolve dispute with Stayz, lawyers if required.

Hello Davin,
Unfortunately things did not go as you have described, as nobody told you to leave the door unlocked and nobody entered the apartment without your consent. The apartment and the building are very safe and no previous guests have ever had any issues with the keys. Even your insurance denied a refund as you have no proof of stolen items. We advised you to go to the police and we also sent one of our greeters there to help out with the police and we offered our help throughout the issue. We are sorry you had a bad experience.
Kind regards,
The WonderWhereToStay Team
