You are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this tastefully decorated, fully furnished 5 bedroom/3 bath home in Grand Rivers, KY. At THE LAKE HOUSE, guests will enjoy a private setting with abundant viewing of wildlife. This open and spacious home boasts 3500 sq. ft. of living space inside, over 2500 sq. ft. of outdoor living space and sleeps 14. With so much area, guests are sure to be comfortable within the spacious layout and fine furnishings. THE LAKE HOUSE is perfect for single families and large group gatherings alike.

THE LAKE HOUSE boasts a large master bedroom, which has a king bed, an ensuite bathroom and it's own set of French doors leading out to the back deck. The second bedroom has 2 queen beds, a large closet and an available portable crib for little ones. The third bedroom has two twin beds with Pottery Barn bedding and a desk area with bookshelves. The large bedroom downstairs has a king bed with colorful fish decor. The bright bunk room is perfect for young ones or those young at heart! THE LAKE HOUSE is ideal for a cozy nights sleep on the Tempur Pedic and other high quality mattresses within this 5 bedroom home.

The well appointed kitchen, with black stainless Samsung appliances and gas range, is perfect for preparing delicious meals. There is also a nice, large, outdoor gas grill available for your use. The spacious driveway is large enough to accommodate boat parking. There is a washer and dryer on the property as well as a clothesline for all your wet items after a fun day out on the water. Guests have access to a two-person kayak and paddles. (Guests must provide their own life jackets) The home has 5 Samsung flat screen TV's with Direct TV and 2 DVD players. There is high speed, wireless internet throughout the property. The basement boasts a game table for a friendly game of UNO, etc. or putting together puzzles. You can also enjoy a fun game of ping pong!

THE LAKE HOUSE is located right outside of Green Turtle Bay Resort and Marina and within easy walking distance or golf cart ride to Patti's Restaurant, Badgett Playhouse, Little Lake Park and Playground, The Village Market and Cafe' Grocery Store, The Jetty, Jade & Earth Spa, Craig's Dairy Dream, golf cart rentals, boat launch, beaches, fishing, putt-putt golf, shopping and much more.

Grand Rivers, also known as the Village Between the Lakes offers many water recreation activities on both KY Lake (160,300 acres - the nation's largest man made lake) and Lake Barkley (58,000 acres). THE LAKE HOUSE is also located within close proximity to the north entrance of Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area (170,000 acres). It hosts biking and hiking trails, elk and bison prairie, planetarium, homeplace 1850's working farm and living history museum, ATV trails and a nature station. You're sure to find something for everyone!

If you're looking for some fun in the sun, visit Venture River Water Park in nearby Eddyville. There is also fun to be had at Kentucky Shores Family Fun Center with zip lines, go carts, bumper boats, laser tag, a rock wall and much more.

My boys especially loved the ping pong table downstairs, which kept them entertained for hours.Our host was fantastic—so kind to call and personally walk us through the check-in process, which made everything feel easy and welcoming from the start. We enjoyed our stay at THE LAKE HOUSE! The house was perfect for our Girls’ Trip. There was plenty of room for everyone to visit, eat, sleep, and park. It was a great location for our plans to visit Patti’s 1880s Settlement and to shop in Paducah. The house was very clean and we all felt safe. It was as pictured. The owner had wonderful communication with us. We would happily stay here again in the future.

This is a perfect family get away spot. The large basement, screened in porch , and paved large parking area make great recreation space. The location is a pleasant walk to green turtle bay marina and a short drive to a dinner at Patti’s.

We enjoyed our stay at The Lake House very much. The location is close to Patti’s, antique shops and a grocery store. The home is spacious and well maintained. The decks and screened in area are such a bonus.

We are The Patterson Family! Ben works in sales and I am a stay-at-home wife and mom. We homeschool our 3 children and thoroughly enjoy traveling! We often travel with Ben's job, which has allowed us to stay in many vacation rentals over the years. We feel with all our experience we know what makes a vacation rental special, and that's what we've tried doing here in THE LAKE HOUSE at Grand Rivers.

Why they chose this property

Our family has enjoyed Grand Rivers for many years. I can remember coming here as a little girl with my parents to enjoy the area. Now we are bringing our own kids to Grand Rivers to enjoy all the things it has to offer. We have a boat at Green Turtle Bay that we enjoy going out on. It allows us to unplug from life and just enjoy one another, without life's interruptions. We decided to buy our home here so we could more easily enjoy the area. We LOVE the area and know you will too!
