Although an ideal nest for a quiet retreat, there are plenty of towns to discover in easy day trips, such as Florence, Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Pistoia and Cinque Terre, with Lucca just fifteen minutes away. For families with children, we suggest a stop at the Pinocchio Park, a short drive away.
