Beautiful Lakefront Home in LACC-Spectacular Views! Private Dock/Buoy

Welcome to "Evans' Heaven" cabin! A beautiful lakefront mountain home- 5 bedrooms, 2 bath, 2 story house in the gated Lake Almanor Country Club (LACC). A perfect home for your family and friends to experience a peaceful, relaxing get away. Here you will enjoy crystal clear waters, spectacular sunsets, and the amazing mountain scenery that Lake Almanor has to offer from our private dock (May-Oct) or large deck. Gather around the propane fire pit for great conversation. A propane BBQ is on the side deck for grilling use.
The main level of the house has a spacious Great Room, wood burning fireplace & Smart TV. Make your favorite meals in the fully equipped kitchen and gather around the large dining table. There is a bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with full size bed & bunk bed, and full bathroom. The Game Room has a sleeper sofa with double doors for use as an additional bedroom.
The upstairs has a private Master Bedroom with a queen bed, full bathroom, & washer/dryer. The Grandkid Room has a full-size bed. The loft area has a full-size sleeper sofa (best for one adult or child). There is a Pack 'n Play portable crib & highchair for the littlest member of your family.
The house does not have air conditioning but stays cool with ceiling fans, tower fans, Mother Nature, and the wonderful lake breeze.
We are located within the gates of the beautiful Lake Almanor Country Club (LACC). The area offers a lovely private golf course, driving range, and putting green. Take long walks through the quiet neighborhood where you will see the many deer who call the LACC home. There are two recreational areas (Rec#1 & Rec#2) with boat ramps, beaches, playgrounds, tennis courts, pickleball courts, bocce ball courts, basketball courts, picnic grounds and amphitheater with a weekly Summer Concert Series scheduled there. Your family & friends will find lots to do when not on the water! Rec #2 is very close to our property so launching your watercraft is a snap.
Besides the LACC Golf Course there are 2 Golf courses close by-Bailey Creek, and Almanor West. The charming town of Chester is only minutes away with restaurants, shops and seasonal activities.
A buoy and private dock situated in deep water is yours for use during your stay. Also, a Tandem Kayak is available for our renters to use- several life jackets are provided but it is best to bring your own to assure proper sizing.
We are looking for those who want to enjoy a beautiful, peaceful setting with family and friends. Wonderful memories await you at "Evans' Heaven"! Book your stay with us today!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
There is a weekly $125 LACC Watercraft Fee per motorized watercraft. Let us know so payment can be arranged. Must be paid prior to check-in!
Summer rental season is 7 nights minimum-Saturday to Saturday. Reach owners for other arrangements. Off peak season is 2 nights min. NO pets per LACC
Rental Agreement acknowledged at booking. All in group, including children, MUST be disclosed on LACC Renter Form. NO day guests unless prearranged.

Beautiful and relaxing. Spent nights on the patio around the fireplace. Enjoyed the dock. It’s over 180 steps down to the dock, so we all got in much better shape while we were there. The owners were helpful and responsive.

Evan’s Heaven!!

We had the most wonderful vacation in Lake Almanor Country Club. There is nothing better than being at the lake. Connie and Jerry were wonderful to communicate with. Their home was the best place we have stayed at on the lake. We watched a bald eagle, deer and the nightly bat show all from the amazing deck. We didn’t want to leave. Truly a special place.

Beautiful and relaxing

Even though the weather wasn’t the best the house offered plenty. Outdoor fire pit plenty of games and living space that fit everyone to enjoy a movie. The view was amazing. Owners were amazing one of the nicest by far as we rent homes 2 times a year. Don’t wait book now you won’t be disappointed.

Great place to stay

We had an amazing trip to Lake Almanor for Labor Day. We have been staying with friends for years since our kids were little and now they are older and bringing extras so we needed a second house to fit all of us. This house did not disappoint. The house was clean and had everything you could possibly need. The view from the deck was awesome and the boat dock was very convenient.Thank you for renting to us!

The moment we pulled up to this home, we knew we had found someplace special. There were pumpkins on the porch, a kayak on the dock, and the place felt like "home". Beautiful Deck and View

This was a perfect family get-a-way. We met our son and his family for five days of relaxation and fun. Morning coffee, happy hour and dinner on the deck was just perfect. The kitchen has everything you’ll need to cook and serve meals, plenty of dishes, utensils and cooking gadgets. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of closet and drawer space. Our 3 year old grandson loved the toy room and going to the dock to fish. It was really nice to have the high chair and portable crib for our 16 month old granddaughter.

We had a wonderful trip with 7 girlfriends for an annual get together. The house was beautiful and clean. It had the best well equipped kitchen which was great for women who like to cook. There were great dining areas and they had a great fire pit. Great neighborhood for walking and bike riding. Unfortunately we were not aware of the 160 steps to the water. It was difficult to carry coolers, paddle boards and such to the water. Wish we could move the house closer to the water. Lol

Life at the Lake

This property is large, well maintained and perfectly located for a large family group, reconnecting and enjoying all that Lake Almanor has to offer: swimming, sailing, boating, racket sports, golf, biking, walking, fishing. We did it all. The hosts were only a text away and responsive to our questions and concerns. And the view from the deck is spectacular.

Our stay here was perfect. The house and location are amazing. The views are stunning and the amount of activities nearby are awesome. Our kids, 4 & 6 had an absolute blast. The house has a kids play room where they spent most of their inside time. Outside we would hang on the deck enjoying the view or go down to the dock and fish/swim or go to the beach (Rec1 was our favorite). Honestly don’t have one bad thing to say, we’re already planning our trip back next summer!

Nice big well stocked home with a beautiful view, lake access and private dock. We spent the weekend fishing and paddling around the lake, catching some afternoon games, bbqing steaks, and telling tall tales on the big deck at the end of the day. Beautiful Lake Almanor

We had an awesome time while at Lake Almanor! The house was just beautiful inside and out with a view that you can’t stop looking at. Very accommodating for our boat as the boat launch was just minutes away and the safety of being in the country club. Really liked all the “little “ extras like the foil, Saran Wrap , multiple coffee pots and etc in the kitchen. We will be making Lake Almanor a yearly destination!

Connie and Gerry have a wonderful house and were very good at communication and very nice hosts. I'd say the only negative aspects to the house are the 180 some steps down to the dock but we solved that pretty easily by having one or two people take the boat over to the ramp and everybody else drive over there with the coolers and folks going out on the boat. We were hoping for some nicer mattresses but after all it is a vacation cabin and all in all we had a wonderful time!

Many wonderful family memories have been created here. We are now passing on our love for this home with our precious grandchildren. Being right on the lake can't be beat! You have access anytime to boat, swim, fish or just relax on our dock. Early morning coffee on the deck is so peaceful. After a fun time on the water enjoy dinner together overlooking beautiful Lake Almanor and then take in the sunset and starry night sky to end your day. There are so many activities that the Lake Almanor Country Club provides our guests. The LACC golf course is a beautiful 9 hole course. Rec #1 has tennis, basketball, pickleball, and bocce ball courts, a beach, fire pits and weekly summertime concerts at the band shell! Enjoy walking or bike riding around the Peninsula or on the many trails in nearby Lassen Volcanic National Park.

What makes this property unique

Our lakefront home gives you a perfect vantage point to enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Almanor!! During the summer months you will be able to spend many hours on the private dock with buoy. Fish for Trout, Salmon, and Smallmouth Bass in the morning and boat or kayak on the beautiful Lake Almanor water in the afternoon. Unwind and read a good book while sitting in a comfy Adirondack chair on the large deck. No better place to relax! There are so many ways to experience this very special place called Lake Almanor!!
