All I can say is that I asked the customer to cancel from the beginning because I couldn’t accommodate them at a price and since I am new in this platform I don’t know how to change the price to 5 people, because I didn’t know how they change the charges in the platform.. the price was for two people in note for 5 adults and I explained to them from the first day they did that booking which I couldn’t not accept but yet again I didn’t know how to cancel and at the moment I didn’t have an answer from the uk representatives; so I explained to this lady to cancel from her side, but she didn’t know how to do it either from her side although I send her a picture of the email and the field where it gives instructions for cancellation policy and how to cancel one month in advance with full refund to the customer. Moreover, the date they arrived I explained them on our mobile phone communication that I was hospitalised with a broken leg however, I managed to contact the Uk representative over the phone from the hospital and managed to cancel the reservation so they received a full refund. I was very clear from the beginning that I was not aware of how to cancel through the platform because this was my first reservation and initial cooperation with VRBO so I had to call and speak with the English representative in UK in order to achieve that, since I am only new to this company” s procedures: VRBO UK. So under the circumstances and taking account, the fact that I was in the hospital with a broken leg not being able to move, I did the best I could to service and support the situation. The first day that she did the reservation I clearly asked her to cancel through email and mobile communication we had , but she didn’t know how to do it. I sent her some information over email on how it works with full refund since it was as prementioned one month in advance. I hope I won’t be having any more inconveniences and I take a better look in a manual of this platform, so I can understand how to better manage reservations as well as how to be able to charge for more people than two. I hope the customer is more well aware of how to do that and how to cancel our reservation that is not possible to be accommodated because both customer and as myself have to be literate about how it is all workig so it is clear fair and user friendly to both sides.
