About this property

4BR Alpine Chalet | Matterhorn & Rhône Views | Hot Tub | Game Room | EV Garage

Summary:

What every guest calls "a million dollar view": the full sweep of the Rhône Valley from Martigny to Brig, with the Weisshorn and Matterhorn directly on the horizon. A 4-bedroom alpine chalet in Randogne sleeping 8, with a private hot tub, panoramic south-facing terrace, Ofyr outdoor grill, game room, and EV garage. Crans-Montana resort is 7 minutes by car.

Self check-in. Private garage for 2 cars with EV charger. One of very few properties in the Crans-Montana area with a private hot tub.

The Space:

🏔️ THE VIEW

Stand on the terrace and you have the full sweep of the Rhône Valley from Martigny to Brig. On clear days — and in Valais, clear days are the rule — the Weisshorn and Matterhorn sit directly on the horizon. Inside, floor-to-ceiling windows frame the same panorama across the open-plan living area, the kitchen, and the upper bedrooms. Not a partial view or a side angle. The whole thing, unobstructed. It is what every single guest mentions, without exception.

🏠 THE LIVING SPACE

Built for eight, feels like home. A deep sectional sofa, wood-burning fireplace, large Smart TV, and a dining table that seats everyone — under natural Alpine light, the valley permanently in frame. This is a mountain chalet that understands what a stay on the trails actually looks like: not a cupboard-sized lounge but a room designed to hold a whole trip's worth of evenings.

🍳 KITCHEN & DINING

Fully equipped for group cooking: full-size oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, and a Nespresso machine waiting for your first morning. Everything you need to cook properly — or prep breakfast before the trails begin — is already here.

🛏️ FOUR BEDROOMS — ZERO COMPROMISES

Premium linens, soft duvets, shutters and curtains in every room. No one draws the short straw.

— Bedroom 1: King bed, upper floor, wakes up to mountain views

— Bedroom 2: King bed, upper floor, quiet end of the chalet

— Bedroom 3: Queen bed, upper floor, bright and south-facing

— Bedroom 4: Queen bed, lower level, wood-panelled Alpine character, its own floor — ideal for a second couple or teenagers who want independence

🚿 TWO BATHROOMS

One with full bathtub and shower. One with walk-in shower and marble vanity. Fresh towels throughout your stay. Washer and dryer in the chalet — pack light for longer trips.

💻 WORKSPACE

A dedicated desk in the master bedroom for anyone who needs to stay connected while disconnected.

🔥 TERRACE & OUTDOOR LIVING

South-facing, glass-railed, open to the Alps in every direction. The panoramic terrace is not a feature of this chalet. It is the chalet.

The Ofyr outdoor grill anchors the covered dining area — a design-forward fire bowl that turns a Tuesday evening into the night everyone remembers. As one guest put it: "The Ofyr grill was an absolute highlight — when the weather's good, you end up spending hours out there." The covered dining area seats 8 or more under traditional wooden beams, sheltered from mountain weather. Fully usable in January and July alike.

The private hot tub faces the valley. Heated water, snowcapped Alps, everything else at a distance. Included at no extra charge for stays of 4 nights or more. Available for CHF 250 for shorter stays. One of very few properties in the Crans-Montana area offering a private hot tub at all.

🎱 GAME ROOM

Downstairs: stone walls, wooden ceiling, full-size pool table, dartboard, and a foosball table. A small electric heater takes the edge off. Groups use it after dinner, between hikes, and consistently more than they expected to.

This chalet is built for: families doing a proper Alpine summer holiday, friend groups who want space and privacy, multi-generational stays where grandparents and teenagers both find their corner, two couples who refuse to compromise on comfort or views.

Summer in the Valais Alps is short. Book now — July and August fill weeks ahead.

Guest Access:

The entire chalet is exclusively yours from arrival to checkout — no shared spaces, no other guests, no surprises. Self check-in: you arrive on your own schedule.

The private garage accommodates 2 vehicles and includes an EV charger — rare in this area. Additional outdoor parking directly at the property, plus street parking available.

The Neighborhood:

Randogne sits on the south-facing slope just below the Crans-Montana resort — quieter, more residential, open to the valley in a way the resort itself never is. You get the panoramic views that come from sitting above altitude, and the access that comes from being minutes from everything. The bus stop is 2 minutes away on foot.

The bus (Randogne Village stop) connects to Crans-Montana every 30 minutes. The resort centre has supermarkets, restaurants, luxury boutiques, and direct lift access.

In summer, Randogne is the starting point. Hiking and mountain biking trails leave from the neighbourhood directly — no car needed to reach the first summit. The Golf Club Crans-Montana — a regular European Tour host and one of the most scenic courses on the continent — is minutes away. The Plaine Morte glacier cable car runs year-round to 2,000m. The Matterhorn is still there on the horizon.

For supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants: Crans-Montana, 8 minutes by car or 15 minutes by bus.

Getting Around:

Crans-Montana resort centre: 7–8 minutes by car, ~15 minutes by bus.

Bus stop (Randogne Village): 2-minute walk; connections to Crans-Montana every 30 minutes.

Private garage: 2 vehicles, EV charger included. Outdoor and street parking at the property.

Other Things to Note:

Hot tub — full policy, no surprises. Included at no extra charge for stays of 4 nights or more. For stays of 3 nights or under, available for an additional CHF 250 covering water exchange, electricity, and maintenance (please contact us after booking). If there are back-to-back bookings, the tub may need up to 24 hours to reach full temperature — plan on enjoying it after the first night. Please ping us at least a week ahead if you plan to use the hot tub so we can make sure all is ready.

Mountain access — honest version. The Crans-Montana resort centre is 8 minutes by car or a short 15-minute ride by bus (Randogne Village stop, 2-minute walk). This is not ski-in/ski-out. If that is a hard requirement, this is not your property — and we'd rather you know now than be disappointed on arrival.

Noise: Randogne is a quiet residential area. No traffic noise, no nightlife. Guests consistently comment on how well they sleep here.

House notes: Guest registration required before arrival. Tourist tax (Kurtaxe) may be charged separately depending on booking platform. Waste sorting and recycling instructions in the house manual. Quiet hours from 10pm. No smoking indoors. No parties. No pets.
