From the hall of your private entrance, step into the charming and inviting open plan space that combines both comfort and functionality. Three windows allow natural light into the room, two offering views across the Usk valley towards the famous Sugarloaf landmark, and the idyllic surrounding landscape. The studio is delightfully furnished with a king-size bed with luxurious, high-thread-count linens, plush, goose and duck feather and down pillows and duvet to help you wake up feeling refreshed and ready to embark on new adventures. The en-suite is perfect to freshen up before heading out to explore the Brecon Beacons and its enchanting surroundings. The local towns and villages boast many culinary delights for all tastes and pockets with excellent cafes, pub food and restaurants, some award winning, using excellent, locally sourced produce. The 36 miles of the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal are accessible from the property, where you can walk or cycle east to local pubs and shops in Gilwern, or west, and a little further, to the delights of Crickhowell, ‘the jewel in the Beacons’.

It’s an ideal spot for savouring a cup of coffee whilst planning the day or a glass of wine to relax and unwind after cycling, walking or exploring. Or perhaps, light the wood burner, turn on the TV and snuggle up for a comfortable, stay-at-home evening in front of the fire. Waffle dressing gowns are provided!

A lovely Location.

A lovely Location. One issue with the seating , chairs are not comfortable to sit on for long periods. Perhaps a small Sofa would be better. The bed was very good.
