Family Friendly Rosa House Amazing View, Barga, Italy
If you are dreaming of a relaxing family holiday with your pets, surrounded by nature, this delightful house is a perfect choice. High on the hillside, with a panoramic view of the Medieval village of Barga, the house sleeps 6 people in comfort.
Set on a hill, you enter the house on the ground-floor, which consists of a spacious living/dining area with a wood-burning stove, sofa, armchair and dining table. Double glass doors lead to a neat kitchen, with stunning mountain views and another dining table for casual meals. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer and Mokka coffee maker.
A spiral staircase takes you down to another floor which leads onto the private garden. There is a second living room, with a sofa and TV, plus bedrooms and a bathroom.
The private garden is furnished with sunbeds and deckchairs to relax in the sun. Above the garden is a terrace equipped for meals al fresco. In the garden, guests will find a basketball hoop; 2 five-a-side football goals and ping pong table. Indoors there are darts and board games.

Bedroom 1: The cosy master bedroom has a double bed and a large wooden wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: The second bedroom has 2 single beds and a chest of drawers.
Extra: The sofa in the downstairs living room converts into a comfortable double bed and has a door leading out into the garden.

Bathroom 1: On the first floor, this bathroom-with-a-view, has a full bathtub, with a basin, bidet and WC.
Bathroom 2: A beautifully appointed bathroom equipped with a glass shower, basin and WC.

Barga (5 minutes) and the surrounding area make an attractive destination throughout the year. The festivals that light up the town in July and August, such as the Festa delle Piazzette and the Barga Jazz Festival, are very popular. The town itself has been included on the list of Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages and has won awards for its well-kept historic centre.
For trekking enthusiasts, the historical pilgrimage route of the Via Matildica del Volto Santo is close by and allows you to explore the beautiful hills and mountains in the area. During the summer months, the beaches of Viareggio are only 1 hour and 15 minutes away.
The city of Lucca, famous for its ancient city walls and central piazza is just 50 minutes away. For self-catering the city’s markets offer the best in local produce and delicacies. The city’s famous antique market takes place on the third weekend of every month.
Pisa’s international airport is 1 hour and 15 minutes away by car.
