Comfortable beds and outdoor amenities, including grill and hammock. Pets allowed upon approval. There are plenty of local activities to keep you entertained throughout your stay!

Nice spot for girls weekend

Four of us enjoyed our time in the cabin. Walkable to the lake seems like a bit of a stretch, but we enjoyed the lake and our time there.

Clean and comfy

We had a very nice stay. The property was very clean and our stay was comfortable. Communication with the owners was fast and the home was the perfect size for my husband and I plus our two small dogs.

Perfect for a small family

The accommodations were nice. Perfect for a beach place. I wish there was a washer and dryer, but otherwise it was a good fit for us. A nice patio and kitchen and a good size bathroom.

Sweet and Clean Lake Cabin

We found the property neat and tidy inside and out. Inside smelled good and was very clean. Kitchen had dishes and utensils we needed. Greg and Meg even provided a coffee maker and filters, and ice was ready in the ice trays in the freezer. Comfy beds and bedding. Minimal and cute decor. Thank you for the comfortable accommodations!

Great stay

The place was perfect for what we needed. Everything was clean and the beds and rooms were very comfortable. Within walking distance to the Marina Landing, a nearby restaurant with great food & drinks and an awesome patio The nearest boat ramp is about 20 minutes with the low water level but wasnt a big deal to us. Great outdoor covered patio and outdoor grill. Perfect for anyone here boating or fishing.

This place is lacking basic necessities for an enjoyable stay. There was only one dish towel and one washcloth. No dishwasher to clean dishes. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. There was no rugs in the bathroom. Very slippery when getting out of the shower. Sub floor is rotting out in the main bedroom. Outrageous price to stay at this place. Watch out for all the hidden fees!!!

Solid rental

We enjoyed our stay. The rental was very clean and bright. This trailer home was small, but did the trick for our group of 6. The outdoor patio was great. The bedroom with the queen bed was the perfect size. The other two bedrooms with the full size beds were quite small, one with hardly any room to move in. The kitchen worked well, but the nonstick pots were quite scratched. It was slightly annoying to not have a dishwasher and have to handwash. The neighborhood was good for people-watching, with many celebrating the 4th of July. It's a mix of boat garages, homes, and trailer homes. It was safe. We enjoyed walking to the Marina Landing restaurant down the way. Of note, the lake does not come down this way again near this rental until 2025 (due to dam maintenance), so we drove to the nearby campground entrance, maybe 8 min down the road.

Perfect location for a lake getaway. 20 minutes from Big Mac Marina and has everything you need with a wonderful outdoor patio space too.

Where’s the lake?

We loved our little get away and this home suited our needs! Lake McConaughy is VERY low and the closest boat ramp was at the damn about 20 minutes away! We’d stay here again.
