Great appartement for a city trip

The appartement was clean and had everything we needed. Its location is great for exploring Verona. We had a very friendly host and checking in and out was uncomplicated. The only critical comment: when checking in online before the visit we had to upload photos of our IDs on the platform of the agency. We don't feel confident with uploading such personal data online.

The apartment was perfect and in an excellent location. The only reason I didn’t give a score of 5 was my check in experience. I had sent all my travel details and ETA. On arrival I had a problem with my phone not connecting. I speak Italian and got someone to help me but it all took a bit of time. It was just 8pm and I was immediately charged late check in fee. I did feel this was somewhat heavy handed in the circumstances. This is a different set up from b and b organisations and definitely felt more impersonal. Communication wasn’t great and I had to resend travel details to a second representative- the message hadn’t been passed on. So all in all I’m unlikely to use them again. It was bad luck but not very considerately handled!
