Modern and spacious apartment, situated between Wandsworth and Balham. This is a boutique hotel experience as there are no personal items present in the flat. However it is fully fitted out to make your stay extremely comfortable, and you will feel at home. 6 minutes walk from tube at Balham, and 6 minutes from the overland transport to London in Wandsworth. Spacious airy, and a very quiet residential area. NOT next to the train line!! A parking place is available on request, and there is a nice communal garden at the back.

Property Manager Shane and Owner Gordon could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. Our family had a fantastic stay in Balham--a fantastic area just outside of Central London. Great restaurants, grocery stores, and boutiques. Easy transport to the West End and major London sites. This flat was a 10 minute max walk to the tube and maybe slightly more to the overground. We had a wonderful time!

We were here 10 days. The location was about 8 tube stations from central London. We were greeted by Shane upon arrival who was lovely. Owner and Shane were very responsive. We had a very nice stay.

Excellent ‘home’ for a week!

My mum and I stayed here for our week long visit to London, and we couldn’t fault the flat! It was clean, quiet, warm and comfortable. The flat is well stocked in the kitchen, which allowed us to be able to cook a few meals, and it was great to be able to do some washing after two weeks of travel prior to our stay! The owner had excellent communication leading up to and throughout our stay. A 10 minute walk to the tube and train, and to lots of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Would absolutely stay again!

the quietest location we've stayed in London

The flat was very clean and bright. The host and rep were extremely helpful. A tube station and local shopping area are a 15 min walk. A very relaxing stay. There is large chestnut tree in front of unit so that is the main view, a bit of country in the busy city.

Family stay in Wandsworth

Our family of 5 stayed for almost a month in Gordon’s flat and it was really nice! The 2 bedroom 2 bathroom flat was very comfortable and close to transportation hubs- Wandsworth common train station and bus stops were just a few minutes away. Check-in and check-out process were easy & questions we had were immediately answered.All in all a really nice stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you Gordon and Shane

March break family of 4

Stayed at this property between 7th and 14th March with my wife an two teen girls. Flat was very nice, very comfortable and well equipped. Located in a quiet peaceful location with available parking which was very handy. About a 7-8 min walk to Balham train/tube station (for access to central London), and all the cafes and restaurants of Balham. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Shane (property manager) and Gordon (owner) were great and extremely responsive to questions. No complaints :-). I would certainly consider staying in this flat for future trips to London.

We have been successfully renting out the flat for 5-6 years now, but mostly on another famous renting site. but with their 3 month restriction we need to try another platform! We live primarily in France, but our excellent meet and person - Shane will be there to meet you, and look after your needs! I work in the yachting industry as a Yacht Captain, my last yacht being 82m. My darling French wife looks after the property, our cats, and myself when i am at home😂.
Over the years we have met or communicated with some lovely people from all over the world, and have many return for another time to visit London, or see family living close by.

Why they chose this property

This area is in a very vibrant part of London, yet where the flat in situated very quiet. Unlike many houses or flats in London, there is no distant rumble of trains or underground to disturb your sleep. There is a large tree outside the window of the flat, and if you are lucky while lying in bed you can watch the grey squirrels run around the branches. The Wandsworth side with its lovely park and ponds full of ducks, and up market restaurants and pubs, is always nice to wander through. While the Balham side has a more busy local atmosphere with large supermarkets and many shops on the main street, all a 6-7 minute walk from the flat.

What makes this property unique

The flat is not cluttered with personal items, as we do not live there, so it is really a nice boutique hotel experience, with all the amenities provided that one needs to make you stay comfortable, and to really feel at home, rather than a more sterile hotel room.
Fully fitted with washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board etc etc, to make the stay more comfortable for those staying for longer periods. as is the kitchen for those that prefer to eat at home.
