Clean and comfortable!
Mimi's home was comfortable and clean. My family felt very much at home which was a plus since we had travelled so far. The neighborhood is peaceful and convenient to market, restaurants and public transportation as stated. While visiting, we took the tram to Amsterdam multiple times and rented a car/gps which we drove to Den Haag and to a family wedding in Arnhem. Parking was available right outside our door at all times. Mimi and her hostess made themselves available and made us feel very welcome. My only complaint is at the time of our visit the oven and bathtub were not operational but this did not interfere with our plans. I do have one recommendation though, as this was my first trip internationally and we were without internet service while away from the house, to provide a burner phone of some sort so travelers can confidently explore the country with maps/GPS as an added amenity.
