Francois was a great host and had many great suggestions for travel tips and restaurants. The apartment had a great location near metro stops and 2 market locations. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was equipped well for some quick bites.
Great apartment in a great location near everything - central A’dam, museums, restaurants. We had a wonderful time and our host was very accommodating.
The property was absolutely wonderful and exactly what we were looking for. About a 10 min walk to the city center with lots of great restaurants close by. The property was very clean and the host was there to check us in and out. He was very helpful with recommendations. Would stay here again 10/10
The apartment is centrally located in the older rings of canals, which made it an easy walk to many museums. 10min to Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh, and Vondel Park. A little longer to Anne Frank or Maritime Museum (30min). The house is very clean and perfect for a small family. Kids will love the second bed lofted near the ceiling.
The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was a solid base for exploring the city, and everything went smoothly. The host was friendly, responsive, and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. We really appreciated the hospitality and would gladly stay again in the future.
The host, his wife and son were very kind and friendly. The accommodation was exceptional. A wonderful, peaceful and central base for exploring Amsterdam. Not touristy more a locals area of the city. Couple of minor things was cold in the hanging bed my son said. It is January to be fair so I imagine in summer that bed area would be a blessing The spiral stairscase is stunning but you need to be fit to get up and down them. Good workout though Overall a phenomenal time was had by all and to come home to such a beautiful setting made the trip more memorable. We all loved the swing and now want one in our homes I would highly recommend Fra’s gorgeous home when visiting Amsterdam Thank you for letting us experience your amazing place. Much love fromNettie, Jake, Janet and Kade

Annette and family were great guests to have
They really enjoyed the house and the city, they were very friendly and nice and they left the apartment really clean and the communication was a 10 👍🎉
Hope that they stay again 🙏
Nice place to stay! Great central location and the host was very helpful. Francois helped make an easy check in and provided many choices for food options. We tried a couple and they were good!
Excellent location, very attractive apartment. This is perfect for a family. They need more railings for the stairs. This would be safer for children and older adults.
First of all I want to express my special thanks to the host.Francois welcomed us very warmly and was very generous.I spent a lot of time looking for nice flat where I could celebrate my birthday with my family (5 people). This place was the perfect location and we all loved the style of the flat which is a mixture of industrial and vintage - a special gimmick was the swing! The location was great as it was quiet but still close to all the attractions. There was a nice bar just at the other end of the road, a supermarket, a bakery ... and it was close to the museum. Easy to get everywhere by foot - we did a lot of walking in 3 days of sightseeing in Amsterdam :-) as we think there is no better way of exploring than doing it by foot. All in all we had a fantastic time and we would definately recommaned this place!
Great property in a great location. Walking distance to all area landmarks. Host very accommodating and responsive. Had great dining and activities recommendations. Highly recommend property.
My family of 5 had a very comfortable stay at this unique property! The kids were delighted by the swing as you enter the apartment as well as the sleeping accommodations. Our 14 year old had a semi private space on upper level while our younger twins shared a bed below. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The location of the unit was in the "business district" so we did feel like we had to walk 20 minutes to most attractions (9 streets, Vondelpark, etc) but we were close to the Museum District which I enjoyed and there was a popular bar right at the end of the street to pop over to late-night. We also found a lovely bakery not far in the opposite direction. It was quiet on the street, tucked right off the main road. Overall a great experience for our family of 5 which can be a tricky number to find accommodations for. Thank you Francois, for your hospitality!
Gorgeous space! So appreciative of the stocked fridge and snack goodies, upon arrival! Lots of room to spread out and neat sleeping spaces for the kids to explore and enjoy. The couch is large enough to comfortably fit our family of 4, which made for perfect relaxing after a long day of exploring. We easily walked to all locations on our itinerary and numerous restaurants are only steps away. Owners were welcoming and attentive!Highly recommend this home!
The spaciousness of the apartment and its location are two of its greatest attributes. The ground, accessed via steep wooden steps from the pavement, opens on to a very spacious living area with zones for dining (front), sitting (middle) and cooking (back). There's an eight place refectory table though the comfortable distressed leather sofa and chairs have space for just four. The kitchen is modern and has loads of storage space. There is a small courtyard garden with a barbecue accessed from the kitchen and the seating area. On the first floor is a very spacious bedroom with king size bed and an ensuite with a shower over the bath. This room, like all in the house, has stripped pine flooring with rugs. The next floor up has a second sitting room with big sofas, another TV and access to a big terrace with good views. The top floor has another big double with king size bed, the ensuite having a bath and separate shower. There is also a box room single bed on this host is usually next door should help be needed. A great advantage of this apartment is its location. Within 400 yards there must be half a dozen cafés or restaurants as well as two Albert Heijn supermarkets . A three minute walk past the tram stop takes you to the Heineken brewery; in five minutes more you at the Rijksmuseum and then the whole museum quater
