Welcome to our peaceful and unique countryside cottage which is nestled in the stunning landscapes of Dromore, Co. Down. Escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse yourself in the tranquility and charm of rural living.

Saughyard Cottage is surrounded by rolling green fields, ancient woodlands, and breathtaking views. The perfect retreat for those seeking a peaceful getaway.

The cottage is located 1 mile from Dromore town, 30 minute drive to Belfast and 90 minutes to Dublin Airport.

Saughyard Cottage boasts a bright sun room, a living room, a dining area, kitchen and utility room. It has two bathrooms and three large bedrooms (en-suite in main bedroom).

It also has a private, gated driveway and a beautiful large garden around the cottage, which boasts breathtaking countryside views and a picnic area.

The cottage is only a 15 minute walk, or 5 minute drive from Dromore town centre.

Guests will be able to access the whole house and garden area.

Idyllic charming country cottage

We stayed for three nights in this idyllic country cottage and could not have been happier with our booking. Communication with Martin was great and he let us know we could check in early, which we took advantage of. The three bedroom cottage was perfect for our group of two couples. Plenty of space to spread out, comfortable beds and extremely well kitted out if you like to cook your meals at home. Really a beautiful and special place. Only 20 minutes to Belfast and about a mile into the charming village of Dromore, which is walkable with ease. Absolutely loved this - best VRBO we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many!. Thank you so much.
