Appliances consist of electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, Smart TV with Freeview. There is a king-size and a twin bedroom, serviced by a shower room. To the outside is roadside parking and an enclosed patio to the rear with furniture, and lockable bike storage. Within 0.1 miles there is a shop and pub and please note, two pets are welcome but sorry, there is no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rent. 2 Cross View is a wonderful base for exploring the best of Northumberland. Note: Two national cycling routes located near to the property. Roadside parking available opposite the property

Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Town: The historic village of Norham is most famous for its splendid Norman Castle ruins overlooking the River Tweed, painted by Turner in 1845. The village has an excellent butcher and bakery, a Post Office, grocer, newsagent and two pubs. Also nearby in the village of Allanton is a good restaurant which is great for fishing and shooting parties as well as the Cross Inn at Paxton. Berwick-upon-Tweed is just 7 miles away, at the northern tip of Northumberland’s beautiful Heritage Coast, boasting many restaurants, cafes, pubs and a nearby links golf course. The Scottish capital of Edinburgh or the city of Newcastle are easily accessed by train from Berwick. A superb base for exploring all North Northumberland has to offer.
