Landmark has an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with electric oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, a dining area with seating for fourteen guests and a sitting area, a sitting room with woodburning stove and TV and a games room with table tennis, TV and open fire. The bedrooms consist of a ground-floor king-size, two ground-floor king-sizes with en-suite access to Jack-and-Jill bathroom, a king-size with en-suite bathroom, a king-size, a bunk and a family room with twin singles and a bunk, serviced by a ground-floor Jack-and-Jill bathroom, shower room and ground-floor wet room. Outside there is an enclosed rear terrace with furniture and hot tub, and off-road parking for four cars. Please note that one well-behaved pet is welcome but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. A cot and highchair are available. Landmark is a stunning base from which to explore all that Devon has to offer.

Shop 0.6 miles, pub and beach 0.5 mile. Note: Check-in from 5pm, check-out at 10am. Note: The three en suite bedrooms located on the ground floor accommodation are particularly suitable to those with limited mobility. Note: Guests are requested to keep dog off furniture and downstairs only at all times. Concierge service available.

Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Town: Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
