The selling point of this property is the location. It’s right across the street from the beach, the train station, and numerous stores and restaurants. We enjoyed being able to step right out the door and find everything we needed. The apartment was clean and the three bedrooms worked well for our family.There were a few downsides worth mentioning, though none of them were dealbreakers:First, the air conditioning is only in the main living area, not the bedrooms. We were visiting during August and it was so hot in our rooms at night, even when trying to blow cold air down the hallway and into the rooms. During a cooler time of year this would not be an issue.Second, the coffee machine and iron were both somewhat broken, and the washing machine did such a terrible job we just did the dishes by hand. We made it work just well enough to get the job done, but these things should be replaced.Lastly, the check-in process was horrible for us. Nobody clearly communicated to us ahead of time that we needed to go to an off-site office to get our keys, so we never got access instructions until we were standing in front of the building for 40 minutes after check-in. We made two separate calls to Vrbo support and had them reach out directly to the manager, and still we didn’t get clear info. It was very frustrating and we almost canceled and booked another location because we didn’t think we were getting inside. Also nobody explained to us how the parking garage worked.
