Than you Rachel for your review. The reason we do not have more/better pots and pans is because guests destroy them very quickly. We have invested on expensive cooking ware only to be ruined within a couple of months. We cycle through a lot of them. They always end up getting burned and guests usually don't clean. It is a frustrating issue for us. Trust me, we would like to leave better cooking ware if people respected more.

Good location, needs a little cosmetic renewal. I would stay there again.

It was a good property for us. Needs a little painting inside and an update on the some of the kitchenware. Had an iron but no ironing board.

Enjoyed our stay!

The house was very clean and well organized. It was also close to everything and yet the house was tucked away in a quiet subdivision. The owner was great, and even though he was out of town during our stay, he did check on us to make sure that we were doing ok. I will definitely keep this place in mind when I come back to TN. I gave it a 4 star because it needed a few more pots and pans because I cooked during the Christmas holiday, but overall the house was GREAT!!!!!!

Thank you John for the review. Unfortunally pots and pans are another problem we face constantly. We have purchased expensive brand new pots and pans only to have them destroyed in less than a month. Guests burn, scratch and do not clean them. We even had where the handle was melted inside oven. So we no longer carry a lot of them and only keep the basic. That is why I always ask my guests if they need anything else. If they do need more pots and pans I can bring it to them. Anyways, just wanted to clarify the reason we do not have a lot of them. Thank you

Fantastic!

Alex was a great host, the property was clean and ready for us. We traveled with our three kids (ages 16, 14, and 10) and our two dogs and there was plenty of room for everyone. We have been very cautious with COVID, due to health concerns, and we felt very safe with the care that Alex put into the property. We will definitely be back! Thanks Alex!

Great place close to all things Chattanooga

Very nice small home in quiet East Brainerd area of Chattanooga. Convenient to grocery shopping and many, many takeout places. Close to all amenities of Gunbarrel RD and Hamilton Place areas too. Master bed very comfortable and bathrooms were great with plenty of hot water. Large garage for your vehicle! We stayed with our dog and were able to walk her around the neighborhood and some several friendly neighbors. Kitchen adequately stocked with cooking gear and a full set of spices. Good communication from the owner prior to and after arrival- special requests were no problem.

Family holiday get together

We were looking for a place to stay other then a hotel. I couldn’t believe how beautiful the house was. Alex was wonderful to work with. Any time We had a question he responded quickly. The kitchen was stocked well with dishes but could use a few new pots. I purchased a cheap $18.00 set of pots and with that and what was in the kitchen I was able to cook and serve thanksgiving dinner to my family. I was a little disappointed that the fire place can not be used but I totally understand the liability for it. Thank you Alex for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. It was a wonderful holiday with family.

Great Family Stay

Hands down the cleanest property we have ever rented. Perfect for family with 2 generations. Master and bath on one side of house and 2 guests rooms n bath on other side of the house. Double garage was a plus due to rain. Host was very responsive providing notice of availability for early check in, code to lockbox for key prior to our arrival, and even has maps provided. House has very inviting front porch area with a rocking chair and deck on the back. Back yard not useable due to slope; however front yard adequate. Grocery store around corner. We cooked breakfast each morning , sandwiches usually at lunch and pickup for supper. Cooking needs met except large skillet was terrible for food sticking. Our family traveled to Chattanooga for vacation after Sally cancelled our beach trip. Grandma, Grandpa, pregnant daughter, SIL and 16 month old grand daughter. House fit our needs perfectly. Already mentioned to Alex doors on guest side need oiling (squeak), lower oven Heating element Not working and guest bathroom electrical plug needs a check. Very enjoyable visit.

We rented this house because the location was close to family in East Brainerd. One of the only rentals available aside from Hamilton Place hotels. Liked the residential a location and proximity to Publix. The house was clean and Alex was very easy to communicate with. No complaints at all. We will stay here again.

Vacation to visit family

This property was a pleasure to stay in. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed to function as if we were in our own home.
