A week with friends.

The location and terrace of this property cannot be beat. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, and the gondola. Beatrice was always responsive to our questions and it was comforting to know she was available.

Beautiful Bellavista House!

This beautiful villa is ideally located just a short walk from fabulous restaurants (Trattoria da Nino was perfect), espresso from Bar Pirandello, the cable car to the beach and the beautiful streets of Taormina. Beatrice was the perfect host. She stayed in touch and made sure we knew how to navigate our arrival. She met us at the car park and walked us to the villa for our tour. She provided great recommendations for restaurants, including Liola. We visited this charming spot and were truly treated like family. The villa is exactly as pictured, with the star of the show being the amazing terrace. We used every room and the amenities. This was the ideal spot for our family of 5. The only bad part of our week in Taormina was leaving! Thank you, Beatrice!

The views at Bella Vista were truly spectacular. However what could be a remarkable accommodation requires extensive TLC and we were genuinely surprised that any owner would allow a property to fall into such condition. The showers are tiny with shower curtains rather than glass enclosures allowing water to run freely on to the bathroom floors. The television in the main living area did not work; there was a faulty kettle which the remarkable property manager, Beatrice, replaced at our request; no toaster; no ironing board; no small cakes of soap nor small bottles of shampoo and conditioner - items provided at every other VRBO we have rented; the beds were small with uncomfortable mattresses; and the living room furniture outdated and lumpy With small complimentary additions such as tissues, dish towels (which Beatrice was kind enough to purchase for us when we pointed out their absence), our rating of this experience would have been significantly higher. We recognize that earlier summer guests wishing just a place to sleep after spending full days at the beach may be content with the status quo. However, for those wishing to enjoy a comfortable week long accommodation, and feel “at home” our stay was disappointing indeed. Beatrice the property manager, was remarkably helpful and when on arrival we were lost, made her way on scooter to guide us to Bella Vista. Grazie mille Beatrice. Her restaurant recommendations were excellent; and the house location was perfect.
