Back garden with Sitting-out area and garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. detached Cottage is in the pretty village of Lesbury and is perfectly located to explore the many delights in this super-friendly county. The living room/diner is cosy and welcoming with a super wood-burning stove for those cosy nights in perhaps watching a film on the smart TV. The separate kitchen is well-equipped for all your holiday home self-catering needs. The door from the entrance leads out into a private garden lovely to catch the sun on a morning or evening. If you are looking for a relaxing break… look no further than here.

You can walk if you choose or a short drive to the silver sands of Alnmouth Beach popular with locals and a very photographed beach, you will find all the local pubs and shops, as well as access to a selection of charming cafés, independent shops, and restaurants. Take in the view of the famous estuary with St Cuthbert’s Cross across the water, a lovely place to take a blanket and a picnic to sit and relax; this stretch of paradise will allow for some unforgettable memories with your loved ones. Perfect Location

A lovely rental in a great location, within walking distance of the sea. The village was picturesque and quiet and the property itself had everything I needed. I would recommend this to others.

The Cottage was clean, comfortable and cosy- ideal for our short break over the New Year.A good size lounge to relax in. It was a pleasure to sit in front of the logburner and watch tv although the heating was set to keep the cottage really warm so the fire wasn't essential. A small coffee table would be a useful addition to put drinks etc on.The bedroom was compact but big enough for our stay- we found the bed really comfortable. A wall mirror was available to stand in front of to dry hair etc as there wasn't enough room for a dressing table and chair.The bathroom had a good size bath and powerful shower with plenty of hot water.The turn into the parking space for the cottage is tight but was manageable in our car (a fiesta). The garden would be a lovely place to sit in the warm weather.Overall a great little cottage!

This was the perfect little cottage to stay in during a return trip to Northumberland.

This was the perfect little cottage to stay in during a return trip to Northumberland. It hasd everything we needed, and is a good base for days out. We'd recommend this cottage to everyone! Highlights of our trip included: -- Alnwick Garden, - never fails to impress!- Cragside - we were there from open til close, and it still wasn’t enough time.- 30 min or so walk to Alnmouth Beach. Very quiet , even on a very sunny and warm day!- Lindisfarne/Holy Island - the driveacross the causeway was amazing.- Sunset boat cruise from Seahouses with Serenity Boat Tours. Absolutely breathkaking, especially on a warm sunny evening.Bed was super comfortable, shower was excellent, and a dishwasher as an added bonus! Thankyou for providing such lovely accommodation.

Good location if you don't, or don't want to, drive

We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The best thing, for us (mid-50s, no mobility issues and reasonably fit) was that we were able to get there and around walking and using public transport. Lesbury is situated between the train station and Alnmouth. There are sign-posted paths onto the coastal walkways and hourly buses at the road end. The community-run village shop is well stocked with everything you'd need to self-cater but closes late afternoon. The Coach Inn does lunches but not evening meals. We had a fun time at their Wed eve pub quiz. We also enjoyed visiting Alnmouth Brewery but please be aware that it's not a safe walk - the path runs out and there's little verge - recommend you get the bus - the driver will do a request drop.
