About this property
Lovely cosy cottage with stunning loch and mountain views in scenic countryside
Little Loch View is a wonderful detached cottage nestling in the rural area of Durnamuck surrounded by natural beauty. A magnificent panorama of mountains and Little Loch Broom can be seen whichever way you look!
The cottage is approached from a quiet single track road and private drive leading to a large parking area.
On entering through the hall you’ll be surprised just how spacious the cottage is. Step into the comfy light filled sitting room with an open fire for cosy evenings and dual aspect windows which take advantage of the view. Return from your day exploring to relax, enjoy the fire and watch the ever changing light on the loch.
A very well equipped spacious kitchen caters for all your needs; you’ll enjoy making meals here. Gather your family or friends for dining, a solid oak table means you can sit, chat and eat with maybe a board game played after dinner.
Next to the kitchen is a useful utility area.
This cottage offers flexibility within the 3 restful bedrooms. Beds sizes can cater for individual, double or super-king beds. Joined by zip link they can be tailored to your requirements, just let us know when you make your reservation.
A fully tiled family bathroom with bath and overhead shower will aid your relaxing, and for your convenience there is also a separate toilet and wash hand basin too.
Outside a spacious fenced garden with seating area is the ideal place for barbecues or just take in the day and your surroundings with your morning coffee.
Little Loch View is situated in a spectacular scenic location, ideal for exploring the coastal road to Gairloch, why not stop for a stroll on one of the sandy beaches en route. There are many wild goats on the hillside along this route providing excellent photo opportunities, but if you don ’t spot any then the local Ardressie Waterfall is also splendid. Hill walkers and climbers are spoiled for choice – Sail Mhor and An Teallach are ‘on your doorstep’ and The Dundonnell and Fisherfield Forest covers a large mountainous area of Wester Ross to the south, known as The Great Wilderness. Plenty for the adventurous climber and with gently strolls for all abilities.
Little Loch View is conveniently 11 miles from Laide where you’ll find a village shop, the cottage is half way between Ullapool and Poolewe, both being 30 miles. Locally you may get a bite to eat or a drink at The Dundonnell Hotel.
It’s the perfect place for guests to relax, recharge and renew in a rural area of outstanding beauty and for dreams to be fulfilled and memories made - until you return, because you’ll want to.
