Finest Retreats are pleased to offer Yew Tree Cottage, a charming Cotswold stone, grade two listed cottage, perfect for a cosy romantic weekend away.

The cottage can accommodate 2 to 4 guests, ideal for a restful retreat or invigorating walking holiday. With a fascinating history dating back to 1676 it retains many of its traditional features with exposed stone and wooden beams, whilst providing modern comfort where you can relax and unwind in the country air.

Hang up those muddy boots after a day out walking, and retreat in front of the log burner as the evening draws in. For the summer months you’ll find a snug/study with French doors which leads out onto the outdoor patio with sofa seating, ideal for an evening glass of wine or to dine al-fresco. The fully fitted kitchen/diner provides all you need for a comfortable self-catered stay with washing machine/tumble drier, dishwasher, fridge with small freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and toaster.

Yew Tree Cottage has two good sized bedrooms, the master with a king size bed for two, the second bedroom with a single day bed, with pull out trundle that can accommodate a fourth guest if required. Newly renovated for 2023, the bathroom includes a spacious separate shower, bath, WC, and basin, with an additional WC downstairs.

Situated in the quiet village of Leonard Stanley, it’s a fantastic base to explore local walks, historic villages, National Trust properties and coffee shops. With the Cotswold way right on the doorstep, you can choose numerous walks with Selsley, Rodborough and Minchinhampton being highly regarded!

Situated within easy access of the M5, bus routes and railway stations, it is an ideal location for visiting the nearby towns including Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bath or even Wales!
