The Pike Room, which is located on the second floor of Kiwassa Lake B&B, features a queen size bed, knotty pine interior, and oversized, private bath. The Adirondack lake and mountain view from the room's large picture windows will leave you breathless. It is the perfect hideaway for those seeking secluded privacy and relaxation. This unit is available for two people (kids/infants each count as a person!). Guests renting this suite that arrive with more than two people will be turned away without a refund (sorry!).
A sliding glass door opens to a balcony with seating are for two where guests enjoy lake and sunset views. The balcony has a screened door to allow the glass door to remain open, at your preference. Note: the balcony is NOT suitable for children.
Well-stated, the Eagle Room is fully appointed including table/chairs and conversation area with two oversized stuffed chairs.
Kiwassa Lake B&B is an Adirondack waterfront Bed and Breakfast in Saranac Lake. The B&B is so close to the water's edge that guests feel like they're staying in a luxury boathouse. The B&B is conveniently located three miles from Saranac Lake and 10 miles from Lake Placid in the Adirondack Mountains. The property is nestled on twenty wooded acres at the end of a dead end road on the water's edge of Lake Kiwassa. The B&B has four guest suites each with a private bath and wireless Internet access. There is a guest kitchen located on the second floor of the main house to refrigerate drinks or snacks.
On property, guests have seen amazing wildlife including Adirondack birds, eagles, loons, etc. Amazing fishing abounds with pike, bass, etc waiting for you. Boating is ample with over 23 miles of waterways through the Saranac Chain of Lakes through Lower Saranac Lake, Middle Saranac Lake, Lake Flower in the Village of Saranac Lake, etc…
Up for an Adirondack Adventure?
After, during or apart from your stay, take a canoe/camping trip. Park your car at the cabin property and transportation will be arranged for you, your gear, including canoe/kayak, at Lower or Middle Saranac Lake where camping is available on an Adirondack island. At that point, your adventure will begin! Navigate your way back to Kiwassa Lake through the Lower Saranac Lake locks including, if you desire, a night camping during your trek back. Camping will need to be arranged by you but if you're interested, we can direct you to the reservation site.
Adirondack gift baskets can be ordered for your stay & can be delivered on the day that you choose with, at a minimum, two days advanced notice. All Adirondack gift baskets are custom made and can be customized upon request. Choose from the following or email us with your request and price quote.
-Adirondack basket: $85 (Locally produced products to enjoy during your stay. Includes one bottle of Swedish Hill wine harvested in Cayuga Lake, two wine glasses, assortment of Candy Man Chocolate from Wilmington, local Maple Syrup and cocktail napkins.)
- Adirondack Beer Basket: $85 (A basket bursting with a six pack sampler of brew from the Lake Placid Pub & Brewery, chips, salsa, nuts, Slim Jims, beef jerky, a beer mug and cocktail napkins.)
-Fresh flowers: $50+ and depends on arrangement
