Baker Cabin at Colden Lodge is on the beautiful shores of Lake Flower in Saranac Lake. This delightful modified A frame waterfront cabin is perfect for a couple. Appointed in classic Adirondack style this fully winterized cozy waterfront cabin has Air Conditioning, a private dock, fire pit, sandy beach access, a full kitchen, bedroom, living room and private hot tub. With access to over 50 miles of contiguous waterways and lakes via Oseetah, Kiwassa, Lower and Middle Saranac Lakes. A very unique waterfront location.

Wonderful Lakeside Cabin!

The cabin was perfect, and we loved the fire pit and dock with a beautiful view of the lake. Bobby was very helpful in getting us settled in, and the overall stay was perfect. We look forward to coming back!

Hidden Gem

Wow! What an amazing little cabin. The pictures do not do it justice. It was the perfect spot for my husband and I and our dog Oscar to unwind and relax. The location is nice that you can walk into town in Saranac Lake (15 min walk), but you’re also only a twelve minute drive to Lake Placid. We enjoyed our stay so much and we will definitely come back here in the future. Super clean, super comfy bed, and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. We used it at night and overlooked the lake. So peaceful. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful place! Thank you Walter for all the tips on places to go!

Good Location

It was great for our 3 nights, Walter was very accessible for meeting us and answering any questions and the place was very comfortable and everything was as advertised. We would definitely stay there again.

A perfect winter getaway

My wife and I loved this cabin rental. It was the perfect place to celebrate our 11th year anniversary. The host and property manager were generous and accommodating. The area has a lot to offer. We went snowboarding at Whiteface Mtn. (30 minutes away), hiking/ snowshoeing at High Falls Gorge (also about 30), and enjoyed walking around Lake Placid, checking out the Olympic Museum, and having a great dinner at Lake Placid Pub and Brewery (15 minutes away). The best part was relaxing in the hot tub after our fun-filled days and enjoying the frozen lake view with a few cocktails. We're already talking about coming back.

Cozy and warm getaway in spite of the rain!

This was a lovely spot to escape the cold December rain. It was cozy, but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was great, even with cool raindrops from the trees. The driveway is steep and a little scary at first, but our Subaru managed just fine. Glad there was parking up on the road just in case! Bobby was terrific and the place was spotless, even during a busy holiday week! Thanks for letting us stay!

I've always said I was raised in NJ but I grew up in the Adirondacks and what a great place to grow up in. Diana and I have been coming up to Saranac Lake every summer since I left in '84 and she always knew we would return and buy a house. Maybe not quite the monster that Colden Lodge is but it was just to much of a classic to pass up. Plus we needed something to do when we retire. So relax and enjoy it as much as we do.
