It was just nice enough for a quick stay when our main focus was enjoying Sequoia NP. It was close to the park with a nice mountain view. Kitchen had bare essentials. Salt pepper and oil. No coffee grounds or sugar.
The location is great and there is plenty of room for a family. The place could use some deep cleaning and more basic supplies like enough dishes, washcloths etc. It served its purpose, but it could have been better.

Hello, We do take this comment very seriously and are already addressing our cleaning checklist and supply inventory so future guests have a good experience. Thank you for staying with us and we value your input.
This was a nice place to have a family getaway. We enjoyed the scenery and quietness and it was in convenient spot to get to the national park. The fire pit was a plus with our boys, for their endless amount of s’mores.
Charming villa in a beautiful location. Right in a vineyard. The grapevines formed the railings of the decks. Nicely decorated and very clean. Easy communications with the host. It’s at the northern end of Napa Valley, but still close to lots of nice vineyards and restaurants. Favorite vineyards—Château Montelena, Sequoia Grove, and Ledson(Sonoma Valley).
Great location and the house was everything we needed. Walked to the river and then visited the local brewery, which had some excellent beer. The entrance to the park was close and we spent an enjoyable day exploring the sequoia national forest.
The property was nice however the pictures show it has river access. There is no direct access to the river on the property itself. You have to go through a gate and walk down to the river on the other side of the street. We reserved this because it stated it was on the river.
Great location in town. Comfortable. Clean. There’s a grocery store close by to get supplies. Entrance to Sequoia National Park just up the road. Great place to stay when visiting the Park.

Location location
We enjoyed our stay. A nice hike in a good location. Small walk to the river. Communication with the owner is poor but they did get back with us eventually.
Overall the stay was good. The communication could have been better & the listing accuracy is a bit suspect. However, If you need a clean place to stay, that would be roomy enough for the whole family & near Sequoia National Park, this is a fine
choice.
House is very clean and has everything we needed.
Location is great within walking distance to restaurant and shops. River access is across the street and need padlock code to access. Felt more like a guesthouse due to neighbors house is really close to property. Would definitely book again.
This is a nice place and a great location close to stores and the National Park Entrance. The weather was hot and I was very appreciative of the air conditioning. The river access was convenient but we didn't go in the river as it was full and fast at this time. The outdoor areas were lovely. My kids were concerned that water was yellowish but it tasted fine. The pull out bed in the living room didn't work very well. A few improvements and possibly up front explanation about the water would have been helpful. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you
The house is centrally located to the foothill entrance of the Sequoia NP, making it a perfect landing spot. It's an older home but well care for. It was well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. The kitchen and living area is large and spacious for everyone to hang. The Adirondack chairs and fire pit makes a nice spot to watch the stars and enjoy the outdoors. Two areas for improvement: 1. The entire house could use a deep clean/dusting as there were spiderwebs and spiders in light fixtures, corner of walls, and windowsills. We know we are in the great outdoors but it was more than normal. The porch bench by the door had spider nests galore you couldn't sit on it. 2. The wifi was unstable. We had to reset the modem a few times. Our host was responsive and helpful. The river access was a nice bonus. You do have to cross the street from the driveway and enter using the private gate code, easy to do. The river area was cluttered with old beach chairs and such so no real place to sit, so bring your own. Overall, it was a nice place, good host accessible both in app and via phone, great location.

Do not recommend
Overall very disappointing. Feels barely maintained & doesn't match photos.
Good: Close to river/restaurants, quiet neighborhood, very close to Sequoia National Park entrance. Firepit area is nice.
Bad: House was dirty when we arrived (beds unmade, dirty towels, toothpaste in the sink, etc.) and maintenance items were left on the front patio. We drove to town to call the manager, who sent the housekeeper. We returned in two hours and it had been given a quick surface cleaning, but the house was still dirty. Doorknobs, light switches, window blind cords, walls, windows, etc. were visibly dirty. Cobwebs and active spiderwebs all over. There were broken outlets and light switches, the front screen door didn't latch, the fridge door handle was missing, broken drawer in the kitchen, musty towels, no foil, no lighter for the fire pit. Landscape guy (nice guy) came early the first two days and was there working on the front yard until late afternoon, so we couldn't use the front patio (firepit and bbq area) privately. The river area looked nothing like the listing photos. Listing shows a river view where you can sit near the riverbank. You can't get close to the river due to massive bushes (taller than me) blocking the access/view, even from the hill. In a couple of spots you can push through to the river, but you can't put a chair there. This area was the main reason we booked here & it was useless. We notified the manager of everything & she refunded 3.5 hours of the total cost.
