This is an amazing place to holiday! You are surrounded by horses, sheep, chicken and some little pigs near by too.We have 3 dogs, 2 of which are nervous rescues and they had the best time running around the paddock. It’s totally enclosed with stock fencing. There are nearby walks, some of which are really quiet. We will definitely be visiting again 😊

I would highly recommend this well appointed lodge.

I would highly recommend this well appointed lodge. Located in a stunning location with gorgeous views, so peaceful. The interior is to a high standard of fitment, very high standard of cleanliness. Everything was catered for, there was a very welcome basket on arrival with bread, biscuits, wine with butter and milk in the fridge. The highlight for myself and my border terrier Bertie was the very large garden, which has stock proof fencing, which was totally secure. Marlon the owner greeted us on arrival and could not have been more helpful. Bertie and I also loved the resident chickens, pigs and sheep. Do not hesitate to book, we will be returning very shortly.

Wow.

Wow. Oak Meadow Log Cabin was a fabulous experience for my husband and I plus our travel companions. Having three dogs is a real challenge when we travel. I found this property online and booked up for 2 nights. Our stay was fantastic and we de-stressed … something that is often difficult with three dogs. They too were relaxed and able to stretch their legs safely around the property. The owners were exceptionally helpful and on hand if needed, but the property is private and fully fenced. Tidy garden, lawns well manicured, and the dogs could explore and circle the cabin safely. The outside is exceptionally welcoming particularly when the sun is out, with alfresco dining opportunities and some great views!Inside the property, there is all the provisions one would need. The kitchen is short of nothing. There was even a welcome basket with some essentials. Clean lines, tasteful décor. The windows and blinds were lovely, and we were able to open up and let the fresh summer breeze in. Something that we often find lacking on most rentals. There is truly nothing to dislike about this place. We will be back and have our next dates decided already 😊Well done and thank you.
