A stunning, contemporary apartment, with striking architecture, which is just a 5-minute walk from the beach. The apartment sleeps 5 people and makes an idyllic holiday base for a family or friends.

The apartment has a terrace with sea views so that guests can enjoy the glorious Sardinian climate at any time of year. Guests can access the open-plan living area, via a glass door which leads directly off the terrace. The stylish inside space includes a modern fitted kitchen which is equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and Nespresso machine. The kitchen also has a smart dining table and a separate breakfast bar.
The adjacent seating area includes a smart sofa and flat-screen TV. Next to this is a laptop-friendly workstation for guests who need to catch up on emails.

Location
The villa is on the edge of the small town of Portisco, on a quieter part of the coast, close to some of Sardinia’s finest beaches. The area is known for its pristine sea and luxury marinas. It is at the southern end of the glamorous Costa Smeralda. Portisco Beach has fine pale sand and visitors can hire kayaks or canoes to explore the nearby coves. After a day by the sea, visitors are spoiled for choice thanks to the excellent restaurants and bars within easy reach.

For self-catering there are supermarkets and smaller shops close by. Alternatively, in Olbia (20 minutes), you can explore vibrant farmers\' markets held three times a week. The Saturday market in Via Sangallo is particularly recommended.

Olbia airport is just a 20-minute drive.

Mosquitoes ruined it

Everything was lovely and as expected other than we were a bed short when we arrived! This was soon rectified by the agency delivering a camp bed that we had to use in the living area. But the enormous quantity of mosquitoes ruined the stay. They seemed to be coming in through a vent in one of the bedrooms - there were literally hundreds of them and every day so sleeping was a problem unfortunately as the seemed tomtolerate our sprays and repellants in

Stay Away

Worst stay of our entire lives that we left as soon as we secured other lodging. First off there’s no address given only longitude and latitude. The owners are non existent. They give you two numbers, one that is out of service and the other they never responded to (including not responding directly to VRBO). This was just the check in process that took multiple hours for us to find the apartment. When we open the door, there’s mold on the walls, dead mosquitos smushed into the walls and most disturbingly BLOOD on the walls. In conjunction with the dead bugs there were also plenty of live ones. We woke up to tons of mosquito bites and only stayed there the one night because we didn’t get in until late and VRBO was unhelpful rebooking us and they could not get ahold of the owners either. There was no hot water, the beds were not beds but box springs and none of the showers or sinks would drain so there’s just sitting water (probably added to all of the mosquitos). Worst stay of our entire lives. Stay away from this place it’s a health code violation.

Unfortunately, we did not receive the correct phone number you provided at the time of booking. Despite our attempts to reach you through three different numbers and four emails, we were unable to contact you. After finally establishing contact, we did our best to assist you in locating the apartment and facilitating check-in. We always send the location via Google Maps and detailed instructions to ensure our guests can easily find the accommodation, despite the lack of street numbers in Portisco. I would also like to emphasize that the apartment has been recently renovated and furnished, as evidenced by the invoices and photos in the listing. The issues you mentioned do not align with our findings. Additionally, the Portisco consortium conducts mosquito control treatments every 20 days, and for our guests’ comfort, we provide mosquito repellent sprays and other products. Regarding hot water, the apartment is equipped with a new Ariston water heater, and every 15 days we perform pipe cleanings to ensure efficient service. We want to clarify that the claims made in your review do not reflect the true condition of the apartment. Das Auffinden der Unterkunft war sehr schwierig da alle Häuser gleich aussehen und keine genau Adressen nur Koordinaten genannt wurden.Die beiden Türen zum Appartement ließen sich nicht versperren und trotz sofortiger Kontaktaufnahme mit ihrem Personal Vorort wurde der erhebliche Mangel bis zum Ende der Reise nicht behoben. Schimmel in dem Appartement und in den Bädern. Heraushängende Steckdose.Defekter Türgriff im Badezimmer und an der Schiebetür im Eingangsbeteich.Im li. Badezimmer kam in der Dusche nur kaltes Wasser.Ein Backofen war in dem Appartement secret garden house nicht vorhanden( lt. Internet aber vorhanden).In der Waschmaschine war ständig schmutziges Wasser.Die Krönung war, dass ihre Mitarbeiterin uns zu verstehen gab in Italien keine Kommunikation auf Englisch möglich ist.Das einzige positive war, dass die von uns gewünschten Weingläser am 6 Tag kommentarlos in einer Tüte hinter der Tür standen und wir diese durch Zufall entdeckt haben.MfgE.Lang

We are sorry to hear that your stay did not fully meet your expectations.However, we would like to clarify a few important points, based on reports from our local team.Our staff showed you several times how to properly open the sliding doors in the apartment. Despite these explanations, one of the doors was unfortunately damaged due to repeated forcing — pushing and pulling — which is not the correct way to operate them.Regarding the oven, please note that it is indeed present and in working order. It is not built into the kitchen cabinetry, but it is a standalone unit that functions perfectly.As for the washing machine, we did not receive any report or evidence during your stay that would allow us to assess the issue. Without documentation, we are unable to confirm or comment further on this point.We would also like to address the matter of communication. Our colleague assisted you both in person and via messages, and all communication was conducted in English. At no point did she state that communication in English was not possible in Italy. She simply explained that, if anything was unclear in English, she could repeat the information in Italian or continue assisting you via message for clarity.Finally, the wine glasses you requested were left discreetly outside your door, as a courtesy and in order not to disturb you.We regret that certain aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations, but it is important for us to provide an accurate account of the situation and to acknowledge the efforts made by our team to assist you throughout your visit.Kind regards,Happy Rentals Team
