Location:
The world-famous Amalfi Coast has long been a favourite escape—from Roman emperors to today’s sunseekers. Its mix of ancient history, spectacular scenery, sunshine, and irresistible cuisine makes it one of Italy’s top holiday spots.
Begin your day with a coffee and sfogliatella, a local pastry you won’t forget. Sorrento is just a short drive away or a 20-minute walk via a scenic trail. Another path nearby leads to Massa Lubrense, with panoramic views over Capri—don’t miss dining at local favourite, La Torre.
While the Amalfi Coast isn’t known for vast beaches, its small, quiet coves offer charm and seclusion. Avoid the crowded ones in peak summer and explore lesser-known spots for a more peaceful seaside experience. For an unforgettable day, take a boat tour to the Li Galli Sirenuse archipelago—legend says you might even hear the mythical Sirens’ song.
Craving a culinary adventure? Head to Naples, birthplace of pizza and full of life. Wander its bustling streets, shop its quirky boutiques, and feast on authentic slices. Skip the car, though—public transport is the best option due to limited parking.
History lovers should visit Pompei and Herculaneum, remarkably preserved Roman cities easily reachable from the villa. Hiring a guide is highly recommended to truly appreciate their stories.
Finally, nature seekers will love the Ferriere Valley Nature Reserve. Known for its lemon groves, wildflowers, and waterfalls, it’s ideal for a tranquil and scenic hike amid the region’s natural beauty.
