Stay at ty huelwen
Excellent property, good value for money and great central location for the village and beach. Certain parts of the house could do with a refresh as they seemed quite dated. It would be good to see window restrcires on the uostairs childrens bedroom as there is no way to lock the window.

Perfect location, comfortable house
Location was brilliant, just a short walk from both beaches and high street. A good sized garden, well equipped home and comfortable beds.
We had a small boiler problem on arrival which was fixed by Anglesey letting immediately.

A Gem of a Find
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ty Heulwen.
Rhosneigr is great village with many amenities and we were 5 minutes walk from a fabulous beach.
We could not fault the cottage , plenty of space for everyone ; lots of different places to sit and relax.
The beds were super comfy. Kitchen well supplied ~ we really didn't want for anything. Even some sunny weather made an appearance!

Lovely stay
We had a lovely week with our 3 year old grandson. The house is in a lovely spot for a quick walk to the beach. Unfortunately the weather decided to turn autumnal and it was too windy to stay long but that was out of anyone's control! The house was well equipped with everything we needed. My only very small critisism was only providing 5 dishwasher tablets for a 7 night stay. I would have bought a couple from home had I realised. But a lovely place to stay.

We are so pleased that you had such a lovely stay and enjoyed the time with your Grandson. It is a shame that the weather turned, but hopefully if you visit us again in the future, you will have a better weather window!

Spacious Property
Large Property in a good location, clean and comfy beds.
Great walk in shower.
Kitchen had everything you could need.
Warm and lovely bedding.
Only issue was the garden which wasn't secure enough for our beagles, fence too low and large gaps in the slats unfortunately.

A good base for a summer holiday
We had a good family get together at Ty Heulwen - 7 adults. Plenty of space, good garden and very convenient. It’s a bit tired and that’s reflected in the price but some of the crockery and particularly the glasses need replacing and the seat covers were grubby. The garden furniture has seen better days. These are things that could be inexpensively addressed but would improve the experience in what is basically a good base for a fun holiday.

Fabulous
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we had a fabulous holiday. The house was everything we needed. I've never stayed in a holiday rental with such a well equipped kitchen. The secure back garden was excellent for both the dogs and grandchildren. So close to the beach and restaurants etc. Would definitely think about staying here again if we needed accommodation for 8 people,

Another lovely holiday!
House in good location, few minutes to High Street and beaches, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Nice to sit in conservatory and watch our two dogs chase around the large garden - our girls had a great time on their holiday! Dogs allowed in Sandy Mount Hotel bar area and we had a lovely meal there. Aydin's sells wonderful pizzas! Had nice weather during our week and we had some lovely trips out. Coming back to Rhosneigr in September and staying in a different house as there will be more of us, but would book Ty Heulwen again as we all enjoyed our stay.

Lovely comfy property with lots of space
Stayed here on a very cold and damp weekend. The property is so light even on a dull day. So much space for the dogs in the enclosed garden which had a lovely side gate short cut to the beach.
Loved the utility room for all the swim and dog stuff and the open fire was a real treat.
The kitchen was well and we loved the big fridge!
My only suggestion would be to either change the seat covers or supply some blankets for the chairs in the lounge, as they are quite stained from previous visitors. (We took our own blankets)
Will definitely be visiting again.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We're so pleased to hear that you enjoyed the light-filled space, the enclosed garden for your dogs, and the handy shortcut to the beach. It’s great to know the utility room and open fire added to your stay, and we’re glad the kitchen and big fridge were a hit!
We really appreciate your feedback about the lounge chairs—we’ll certainly look into refreshing the seat covers or providing blankets for extra comfort. Looking forward to welcoming you back for another stay soon!
The layout was great for my family, as some struggle walking, so 2 ground fl bedrms/bathrms were perfect. kitchen is well stocked and oven/hob were great. house is need of some TLC - sofas in kitchen, 2nd fl dblebed is painful get in/out of. We had issue with boiler but a nice man came within 30mins to fix. The location is ok, in a very quiet area of anglesey, few restaurants nearby and good for beach.Somelatobedframe in

Brilliant layout of property for all
We've stayed in many properties on the Island but this one we will be returning. The layout is brilliant especially for us with dogs. We used the utility door all the time as we could come in and let the dogs through to the garden from the garage. They could then come in and out at leisure without entering the rest of the house. It was a very welcoming and comfy house for our 2 families with everything needed to self cater all week. Easy access to beaches both ways and to shops. Looking forward to next time.

Stay at Ty Heulwen
Ty Heulwen is a lovely spacious beach house in a quiet area but only 2 minutes from the beaches and village. It is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. There was more than enough room for us 5 adults and 2 dogs, with plenty of sitting areas. The utility is big with loads of room for hanging coats etc and the garage is perfect for storing wet suits and anything else you take with you. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need on holiday including loads of utensils/dishes/pans etc. The beds were comfy and the bedrooms were all a good size. The garden was great for us and the dogs and catches the sun nearly all day. The garden furniture could do with a good paint but is quite sturdy otherwise. All in all a lovely place to stay in a great location.

Fabulous location
The bungalow is deceptively spacious, location is perfect - walk through the garden gate and 30 seconds you’re on the beach, beautiful.
We really struggled with the patio door lock in the conservatory and back door, this needs looking at.
There’s no radiator in the upstairs double bedroom so this was cold. Fortunately, as there were only 4 of us, we could swap bedrooms.

A Lovely Holiday In a Fantastic Location.
Ty Heulwen is a lovely holiday home in a brilliant location, so close to Rhosneigr’s beaches. The house is very spacious and comfortable. It is also very well equipped with everything you would expect in a kitchen. We had a very relaxing time in the house. My slight criticism is they should really specify that a lot of the bedding contains feathers. I am allergic to feathers, so we had to swap the bedding around. Normally accommodation specify when bedding contains feathers. Fortunately this didn’t impact on our stay and we had a lovely holiday.

Fantastic Location
Although we had a dog with us, Luna is not allowed upstairs or on furniture. Disappointingly it was obvious that the previous occupants had let their dog/s have free run of the house.
Due to this, the cleaner was still cleaning the house when we arrived at 4pm check-in.
The house is in a prime location, handy for beach and restsurants, family had a fantastic week and the weather was kind to us too.
I would say the house is looking a bit tired, but didn’t prevent us from enjoying our stay.
Response from VrboOwner on 12 June 2024
Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. Unfortunately, on the odd occasion, the time does run over a little if our Housekeeping Team is faced with a challenging property, but we always try our very best to be ready for our guests.
We are delighted that the location was just right for your holiday and the weather was also kind.
We do hope that we will see you again in the future.

A wonderful family feel home ideally situated
This house feels really homely and it's set out brilliantly, especially for family groups. There's plenty of rooms for everyone to use when they all don't want to do the same thing. The garden and access is great and you're a stones throw from the beaches, either from the front of the house or through the back gate. The summerhouse is great especially as it gets the evening sun. Having 2 separate hose pipes are good for washing off sand outside when we all came off the beach. The dogs can dry off in the laundry area of the house which is accessed through the front door. Meaning they don't need to come into the main bit of the house. We kayak so the garage was great for leaving all our kit in and the old fashioned airers are a brilliant idea. They were used every night!.

Perfect for dog walkers
We took our two dogs to Rhosneigr and chose this property for the proximity to the beach. It is just 2 minutes from the back gate, which was perfect.
The house was comfortable and as it was painted floorboards we had no fear of any doggie accidents.
Garden was nice and big. We saw a few gaps in the fences, but they never tried to escape.
The separate utility was brilliant for cleaning the dogs. Key in the drawer.
The cottage was warm and heating worked well.
We only used the king size bedroom downstairs. We didn't use the upstairs rooms at all.
Overall a great week walking on the beach despite some rubbish weather.
Managed to get coffee and cake from the village which helped improve our moods.

Lovely Rhosneigr
Had a great 4 day break here the house was a good size but was lacking a few cosy comforts and appeared quite dated in parts. The whole of the kitchen diner/ conservatory was really lovely, we spent most of our time in there as we found the lounge was really dated and the blinds in there need replacing, the lounge Tv is not a Smart TV only the little tv in the kitchen snug is Smart. It could do with some rugs / mats in the kitchen diner conservatory as we felt all the painted floorboards were a bit too cold and there are no blinds or curtains up at any of the windows in the conservatory and kitchen/diner so felt a bit uneasy at night as the large garden overlooks the kitchen/diner. In summary, it is a really large property and the location is excellent, I really loved the huge back garden it was perfect for our Dog to run around in. Overall the house is good value for money if you have a large family, I would return again if the owners sort the blinds out and purchase a few rugs for the kitchen, dining room, hallway.
