Close to Pool and Beach!!! Lots of Resort Amenities!

The décor of your cottage is clean and coastal feeling. The great room is tiled while the bedrooms are carpeted. The living room has a comfy sleeper sofa. An en suite master with a walk in shower has a king size bed plus twin trundle bed and the guest room has both a trundle and a single twin bed. All rooms have TVs and there is a large flat screen in the living room. Step off your screened porch and a short stroll will bring you to the beach walk-over and our white sand beaches. Or head in the other direction along the wooded paths and reflecting ponds to the main pool and tennis center. Hidden Dunes Beach & Tennis Resort offers several on-site amenities such as, a lake with a fishing pier, a horseshoe pit, a basketball court, professional quality tennis courts, and outdoor grills.

You must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property. During Spring Break , the minimum acceptable ratio is one (1) person 25 years of ag for every two (2) persons under 25 years of age. Per Hidden Dunes policy, during spring break dates, anyone under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. No exceptions!

So peaceful and beautiful.

Fountains outside the condo. Love the patio. The slider needs attention. Slides very hard and a handle would help. The location and setting were just perfect!

Beach Vacation

Nice place, needs a new coffee machine, mattress in the master bathroom is too soft. Other than that we a great time. Didn’t spend a lot of time in the cottage.

Pretty good and value

Overall good. Did have some shotty furniture such as a broken chair, but overall worked well for what we needed. We’ve rented there three times over the years and know what to expect. Would do it again.

We love Hidden Dunes!

We’ve stayed at this resort five times, and we love it! This is our first time in this unit. There were a few glitches (patio door very difficult to open and close; no staples in kitchen— no salt and pepper? No coffee filters?), but it was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

Just ok

The place needs updating and a few things fixed. Too dark and dreary for my taste. When people moved in upstairs you could hear every footstep, not fun at night. The whole area was lovely so that was a plus so we had a great time despite the decor.

Home away from home

Great location, close to the pool and beach. Our daughter could walk to her friend's cottage without us worrying. Nice to have privacy and seclusion, but also close to everything when we chose to be social. I only have 2 complaints - 1. We could hear the upstairs neighbors easily and when new neighbors came in with 2 dogs they kept us up at night; 2. The master bath shower is dark. But overall it was a great place to stay and we had a wonderful time!

Very dirty

Condo was shabby and dirty. Only showers were in garden tubs. Toilets broken. Tried repeatedly to contact local maintenance but received no help.

Property management company disconnected and unhelpful

With a major winter storm headed our way before our vacation, it took 3 days for this management company to call me back as I tried to scramble and change plans. They were very short and refused to consider allowing us to change our dates. I will make sure to never book again with Best Beach Getaways.

great location

When I arrived, the master bathroom tub had roach poop (quite a bit) all around the drain. I am going to assume that since this is the off season, no one has stayed in this unit in a while. I would suggest having someone check the unit when it has not been rented in a while before new people come. I did have to run and step on 3 roaches. Maybe it needs to be sprayed more? The back porch sliding door was very, very hard to open and close. This was my second time coming this summer. I would consider renting this place again if these issues are addressed. Perfect Location - Unit Could Use TLC

Hidden Dunes is the ideal family vacation to the Emerald Coast. The resort has great beach access, wonderful pools, and an ideal resort setting. This unit had many sleeping options and a good sized kitchen. However, this unit was not clean and for the price we paid on this versus other units we have stayed in before, I expected the same or better amenities which was not the case. There is so much furniture cluttering up the unit that not only does there feel like very little room for your luggage but any amount of beach or pool items (which you must bring - they do not offer any) take up whatever precious room you have. If the price had been a little less, I probably wouldn't fuss but we really expected more because we paid more for this than others in the past.

The cleanliness

The previous tenant’s sheets were still on the hide-away bed. The dust from the a/c vents was so thick, it gathered on the walls. The master bathtub was clogged so much that with each shower, we were standing in water within a couple minutes of being in it. No broom provided to clean with. I called the number listed in the rental agreement within the 24 hour timeline(we arrived Saturday after 4pm). Nothing was fixed until Tuesday. From Tuesday on, vacation was nice.

Overall (rating 2 stars) we did enjoy our stay despite several issues with the cottage

PRO's 5 minute walk to beach, quiet, gated community. Two nice pools. Everyone we met (Security, tenants and owners) were friendly. CON's Very hard to contact management company (No response to numerous emails and voicemail messages. When we finally were able to talk to someone Michael was helpful in adding a day to our trip, since our plans changed due to the gasoline shortage) Floors in all of the rooms very dirty. Dishwasher, fan in master bedroom, blender did not work (maintenance offered to stop by and fix, but we decided we could do without and did not want to wait in the cottage while repairs were completed) Some of the cloth furniture stained.

Hidden Dunes is beautiful!! Private beach breathtaking!!

Absolutely loved the hidden dunes. Beautiful and relaxing. Only thing we didn't like was there was no mop and mop bucket. Other than that everything was perfect!!
