The "Reef" is a newly built 50' houseboat docked at Badgers Island Marina located in Kittery, ME on the Piscataqua River.

The houseboat features a queen bed in both bedrooms . The Master bath has a head and sink while the Main bath has a shower, head and sink. The Galley features a refrigerator, sink and stovetop as well as a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans and a full set of dishware/utensils.

Also in the Galley is a dinette with seating for 4 as well as the bartop that has seating for 2.

In the salon , 32" flat screen TV and Bluetooth speaker.

On top of the houseboat is a beautiful outside deck where you can enjoy your view of the river while dining at the patio table that offers seating for 4.

On site at the marina is a washroom facility with 2 full bathrooms, 1 half bathroom and coin operated washer and dryer units.

On the marina’s pier there is a full sized grill, picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, etc…

Ice is available for purchase and there is free parking.

All linens and towels are provided for a $40.00 fee.

No pets are allowed - no exceptions.

No smoking is allowed at any time on the boat, including the outside decks.

Please note that the boat does not leave the dock.

It was a fantastic stay. The houseboat was spotless, and has full amenities to make for a seamless stay. The views are incredible, and we quite enjoyed watching the passing boat traffic. Unfortunately, we were only there for 2 full days, and at least one was perfect weather. We made full use of the rooftop deck for sunbathing, and then that evening sitting out under the starry skies. We hope to return next summer.

The location was excellent. The boat was clean and plenty big enough, with everything we needed for the long weekend. Close to everything. Staying on the boat and watching boats, birds, sunset was relaxing and entertaining. Quiet marina with everyone being helpful and welcoming. This is a life I could get used to!

This was my 4th stay on Suzanne's houseboat. I LOVE my time on The Reef!!! It is really the only houseboat in the marina. I feel like I have the entire marina all to myself. Therefore it is extremely private and peaceful. I love hanging out on the lounge chairs on the top open deck and reading, napping or having a cocktail. The waterlevel bow deck is great for enjoying my morning tea and watching boats come and go occasionally. It's fun to watch the Memorial Bridge rise up and down for the taller ships to pass under. Portsmouth is just a quick nice walk over the bridge. No need to take a car and deal with parking! The boat is spotless and very uncluttered which I love. The couch and beds are extremely comfortable. I LOVE when the boat rocks gently when a boat goes by creating a small wake. It's especially romantic and relaxing at night in bed. You can buy ice at the marina for 2 a bag. There's always plenty of hot water though I try to keep my showers very brief to save on resources. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay. Suzanne is a very attentive host answering questions immediately. I will be back next year for sure!

Staying on the boat is extremely enjoyable, marina is well maintained, personal are knowledgeable and friendly. Portsmouth and Kittery have the best of everything restaurants , shopping etc. Rye beach and York Beach a short drive away. We will be back.

Memorial Day weekend

Houseboat Heaven!

My kids, husband and I loved staying here. The boat was very clean and comfortable, plenty of space for the 4 of us. The location can’t be beat. Sitting on the top deck in the evening was lovely. The Badger Island Marina staff are beyond friendly and wonderful. We loved every single thing about our stay.
