One of 2 apartments that roost above a 1902 home in the heart of the historic Boulevard neighborhood.

One bedroom with queen size bed and TV/living room with futon. Full, urban kitchen opens to the living room. Cable TV and Wifi provided. Free curbside parking on wide street. Private, covered stairwell entrance.

Sidewalks line the neighborhood creating an easy walk to Downtown, Bottleworks on Prince Avenue, Normaltown, and Sanford Stadium.

My family and I live below the apartment. We assume you'd like your privacy, but we are also very happy to help with advice and directions.

Some of the bounty that awaits you by easy walk or very short ride: Thousand Faces coffee, and White Tiger BBQ. Normaltown area (featuring Automatic Pizza, Agua Linda, Normal Bar, Hi-Lo, Old Pal, Square One, and Marti's at Midday) and Bottleworks on Prince (featuring SeaBear Oyster Bar, Hendershot's Coffee & Bar, Farmburger, Poquito's and Athens Cooks). And, of course, easy travel by foot or bus to downtown and Sanford Stadium.

In addition to the wonderful eateries, yoga studios, coffeehouses and nightlife, the apartment is surrounded by beautiful historic homes worthy of a stroll. Several parks and playgrounds are also nearby.

The location is perfect for walking into downtown Athens, and I felt perfectly safe doing so. The neighborhood and home are beautiful. The place is OK, but was overpriced for the game weekend. It was definitely not worth 650 for two nights.It has potential but is in need of some TLC. Also, the sheets on the bed were torn. There is no possible way the person that put on the sheets didn't notice the tear.

UGA Graduation Weekend

This place was a fantastic choice for our graduation weekend in Athens. It provided a comfortable, convenient, and charming base for all our celebrations. Hi, I'm Jason. I moved to Athens in 2000 from the RTP, NC area and am amazed everyday by this city's charms. I teach ESOL at a local elementary school and my wife is a professor at UGA. Although our home is below the apartment, we will not bother you unless you ask us to. When we are not traveling, we like to garden, play games, exercise, and enjoy the treasures of Athens.

Why they chose this property

After living in Athens for 17 years and spending some time abroad, I knew the Boulevard area was the best place to live in Athens. It's historic homes and sidewalks make it a lovely, friendly place to be. It's proximity to downtown and Prince Avenue grant easy access to eateries, venues, and shops.
