A spacious 1800’s, centrally heated 3 bedroom cottage in the Yorkshire Dales sleeping 6 adults and 2 children in 3 bed rooms. The Cottage sits on the Village Green of a fabulous village. The village Gastro Pub is a 1 minute walk away and the village shop and post office is across the road. There is also Middleton Lodge estate with a fabulous spa and 2 restaurants with Michelin awards. Easy access to the A1 at Scotch corner with a M&S and lots of nearby local villages, nearly all sporting fabulous pub. The cottage has a spacious hallway with a desk for home working and a music centre. This leads directly into the spacious cosy lounge with a wood burning stove and a flat screen smart TV with Sky. The large kitchen diner has everything you could wish to make your favourie recipes, if you dont take advantage of the many gastro pubs! The stairs lead to 3 bedrooms. One a king size double with ensuite shower room, a king size double and the familiy bedroom with a king sized bed and a full sized single couch bed with a trundle single pull out. The bathroom has a clawfoot bath, a shower cubicle and toilet and baisin. There are 2 terraces one at the south facing front of the property with a bench seat and table for those alfresco coffees or wine and an internal and very private back terrace with BBQ and table and chairs for alfresco dining The cottage is surprisingly roomy for such a period property. There are lovely country walks from the cottage and it is in easy reach of Richmond and the Dales. We are a 40 min drive from Saltburn on the East Coast.
