Impressive on the Outside, NOT the Inside!

Before booking my reservations, I read many reviews on this resort on various travel platforms. Many reviews stated that the inside on the condo's and condo lobbies were dirty and in need of a good cleaning. I was hoping that these reviews were just from very picky high maintenance people, but after staying at this resort I agree with the reviews I read. This resort is very impressive on the outside, but once you step into the condo lobby and enter the condo, it is no longer impressive. From the from door of the lobby continuing into the condo, there are dirt and scuff marks EVERYWHERE. We rented two condo's but didn't even use the sofa in one of them because it was so dirty looking. The bed skirt in one of the king rooms was literally coming off the bed ...how the housekeeper missed this is beyond me ...but they also missed the shoe that was left under the bed and the dirt/scuff marks left on the bathroom floor from the previous person who stayed there. I did not check out the other 3 bathrooms during our stay, but my shower had mold all around the door. This is all something I would expect if I were staying at a Motel 6 or Red Roof Inn ...but this resort is supposed to be a luxury resort ...I even had the option to listen to and possibly buy into a timeshare option...why would I buy into and want to stay at a dirty, stale smelling condo on vacation? (Your sales department needs to know this!) I could go on and one about what was not clean in the condo. Even the glass table top had crud stuck to it and stuff either growing on or sticking to the under side of the edges of the glass. Here's the one positive, ...the beds slept good and the sheets and towels were clean and white! Knowing that we were sleeping in and drying off with clean linens was the best thing about the condo. Basically, this resort needs to manage the cleaning service of the condo's better. I'll give it a 2 out of 5 for cleanliness. This condo served it's purpose for the weekend, but I would not stay here again without a DEEP DEEP cleaning of the condo's. Any by the way ...when I mean DEEP cleaning, I mean make it SMELL clean too! Again, impressive on the outside ...not the inside.

The condos are a little date in need of an upgrade. I'm guessing due to covid protocol cleaning & maintenance were not a priority since I observed trash on the floors, steps, and hallways. My family and I did have a fun time but, I will not be visiting this location again.

The overall cleanliness was okay but rooms were dusty and musty smelling. Very limited kitchen cookware which was disappointing since due to COVID we did not go out for meals. Furniture outdated and very uncomfortable. The building and rooms are in need of updates.

Not what we expected

The “4-bedroom condo” was actually two 2-bedroom condos, separated by two locked doors. We made it work, but the listing was quite misleading. Also they charged us a resort fee (which was not mentioned in the VRBO listing) and made us pay for amenities that were not available, like the indoor pool, fitness center, and other indoor activities. The condos were in desperate need of updating (green carpets and counters, curtains held together by paper clips) and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Great place for family gatherings, real close to parks, restaurants, and shopping areas.

Loved the set up with two apartments in one. Our view was beautiful. It rain our whole time there but still enjoyed family the stay was well worth it.

Kitchen left a lot to be desired. There were an adequate amount of dishes, but no mixing bowls is ridiculous. Very few pots and pans. One small bar-b-que grill for 16 units was very disappointing. If a guest has no intentions of eating in, they will be O.K. with the unit.

Comfortable and roomy

We stayed at the property in September. The weather was warm and the shaded back deck had a lovely pond view. The beds were comfortable, all was clean, plenty of bathrooms. My only beef would be the website seems to indicate 2 queens and 2 double twin bedrooms. In reality these were all queen beds. This would have been an issue had one of our group not canceled. The location was very convenient. I would stay there again.

This unit is very spacious and has great amenities associated with it. The indoor and outdoor pool as well as children areas great. The unit itself is very spacious though a different layout than was portrayed in the listing. The beds listed in the second bedroom were 2 twin and it was a double bed. The quality of the finishing were not as nice as expected and there were several maintenance issues with the condo.
