Charming townhouse around the corner from the high street uniquely renovated with free WIFI, on-road parking, and a distinct style. Just a 5-minute drive to the beach, and scenic walking routes at your doorstep.

Barry is vibrant and trendy, with our house near the sea and high street, offering beautiful places to walk, eat, and play. Situated near popular tourist attractions like Barry Island Beach, alongside two additional beaches, all within close proximity and the iconic Gavin & Stacey house.

Our community takes pride in the welcoming atmosphere and cozy neighbourhood, with numerous shops and local businesses and with a variety of pubs and restaurants catering to all tastes for day and night along the bustling high street.

Our location is well connected, we are walking distance to train stations and bus stops connecting to Penarth, Cardiff and Bridgend!
The Wales Coastal Path winds through Barry, offering delightful coastal walks and cycling routes at your doorstep. Additionally, numerous cycling trails lead to Penarth, Cardiff, or the scenic Vale of Glamorgan countryside, providing plenty of options for outdoor exploration.
-Check-in is at 3pm. Check-out is any time before 11am. you`re welcome to request an early check in or late checkout, subject to availability. We are unable to confirm availability until 24 hours prior to arrival or departure.

-Parties, events, or excessive noise are not allowed. Please be respectful of our neighbours and observe quiet hours from 10PM-8AM. Violations after our initial warning may result in cancellation of your booking with no refund and your removal from the property. We are located in a residential community and, although this may be a vacation to you it is home to many people. As such we ask that you respect their privacy and peaceful environment.

-We do not allow smoking of any kind anywhere on the premises or near the property; including the use of e-cigarettes and marijuana. Those found in violation will incur a £500 fee.

-Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occur while on the premises or its facilities. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises. Guests recognise that they may personally purchase insurance to protect themselves in such events.

-We understand accidents happen, so if there is any accidental or intentional damage caused to the home, please let us know prior to your departure.

-This property may have video surveillance in outdoor public spaces to ensure the safety and security of all guests. There are no cameras inside the home. Noise meters may also be present in and around the property to ensure quiet hours are followed. we will only receive a notification of a noise event if the noise decibels threshold is exceeded. Please try to keep the fun at a respectful decibel level during the day, but at night we ask for no loud noises after 8pm - if this sounds like something that will not work for your group, our property might not be the right one for you.

-Guest are prohibited from carrying or otherwise possessing a firearm at any time on property grounds, including carrying firearms in an open or concealed manner. This policy applies to all types of firearms.

-Occupancy is limited to 7 at this home. Any additional guests or visitors must be approved by your host.

-Any items left behind can be sent back for a handling fee of £25 plus the cost to ship and must be prepared before the item will be sent.

Left in the dark

we stayed here on new years eve from 31st Dec - 2nd Jan. during our stay there was an issue on the night of 31st Dec whereby the power to the property completely tripped out and would not come back on.we rang the emergency number and the caller advised we should check the fuse box and trip switches, which i did, this would not work. he also advised to turn large electrical items off which i did but again the power would not come back on.The emergency contact was not in a position to come to the property to help us nor did they have any other support for our situation. the only final advice was to look for another property. as it was 9.30pm on new years eve this was not possible for me, my wife and my 7 year old. we were left that night with no electricity, meaning no lights, no heating, no power to charge phones, we were all quite worried, it was pitch black and we had no other option than to go to bed and try and look for another property in the morning. we also had food in the fridge which perished, and we had no hot water for a shower or a bath.To be left in that situation in the dark and cold with no means of help or support was unacceptable.once the power did come back on the next day we were terrified that it would go off again and we would be left in the same situation. This had an impact on our whole trip. I have since tried to contact the owner on numerous occasions but they havent responded. i would strongly advise anyone to reconsider staying here.
