About this property
Private bed and breakfast on a Family farm 5 minutes from Saint Remy de Provence
We have a special part of Provence on our doorstep with stunning hikes, amazing markets, history stretching back to Nostradamus, the Romans and Van Gogh, local festivals celebrating ancient Provençal culture, amazing vineyards and olive groves and local cuisine. Walking, cycling or driving through the Alpilles will make you want to live here too! Our local village sells the best chocolate ice cream in the world!! Our village is full of charm, with a market every Friday and so many festivals and bull runs throughout the Summer months. The bull runs are a local tradition and not in the same vain as the famous Spanish bull run - really it is to test the skills of the local horse people from the Camargue on their stunning white horses. There are lovely restaurants in our village. We are also only 5 minutes away from the famous Saint Remy de Provence which is steeped in history and beauty. The Alpilles is beautiful and the villages which nestle into these craggy limestone mountains are a great day out, to have a coffee or rosé watching the world go by. We are 20minutes to the centre of Avignon - with the theatre festival in July and it's art galleries and concerts and the Palais des Papes. You can kayak under the famous bridge in Avignon or simply sit with an ice cream in a deck chair with the view of the bridge and the Palais. Avignon has some really interesting and quirky restaurants - you will not go wrong there. Our farm is situated in a very serene part of the world and you will be welcome to take a walk around the farm to see the produce growing, chat to Ziggy and Stardust the goats or Nougat and Noisette the pony’s, try some of our eggs from our little flock of chickens. We are always out an about busy on the farm so you will be able to come and chat to us to find out any local information. Our pool area is really secluded if it's a day of R&R you are looking for then a pool day beckons. During the Summer months our family do use the pool towards the end of a long day on the farm, but during the day, you will mostly have the space to yourselves. If you have a child/ren, we can add extra beds into your suite. There is plenty of space for this. I think the children will love staying on a farm. They can help collect eggs and feed the animals. Your suite has 2 rooms and a bathroom. All private and with your own access. You can park at the property. There is air conditioning for the warmer months and heating for the cooler evenings in Autumn and Spring.

Loved the apartment, our delicious breakfasts, and all the effort Rachel put into making us comfortable. Rachel is awesome! This is a great place if you want to be near major destinations like St Remy or Avignon but be in the quiet, serene areas of Provence.
