We stayed over new year and the cottage was warm and comfortable despite cold temperatures and a storm outside. Easy walk to the seafront and cafes nearby. A good variety of shops and restaurants in Lytham. Would book again if we want something in the area.

We had a lovely 4 Night Christmas break at Commonside Cottage.

We had a lovely 4 Night Christmas break at Commonside Cottage. The property was easy to get to with parking on site and in a good location for local amenities. There is a co-op and access to buses within 5mins walk and seaside in under 10 mins walk. The cottage was clean and tidy, well maintained, warm, with a wood burner if you needed it. The main bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and we would like to thank Jon for all his assistance and the Milk and Bread put there to welcome us. We would certainly recommend this property to our family and friends.

The cottage is in a good location in a quiet street, its lovely and clean & well equipped and has a wood burning fire. We loved the conservatory to sit and read and the garden isn't overlooked. We needed to get away for a restful stay and this was absolutely perfect, we left the car on the drive every day and got on the nearby buses to Lytham, St Annes, Blackpool & Cleveleys. So no stress of parking. There is a well stocked Coop 5 minutes away and several shops and chippy!Ansdell & Fairhaven station is also nearby. Its around a 10 minute walk to the beach and the lovely Fairhaven lake. We went to Lytham windmill which is interesting and was free but we left a donation.Loads of places to visit we needed longer than a week. Its new to the market so everything in perfect condition we 100% recommend the cottage and cant fault it, we will be back!
