The holiday home in St Anne’s Road, Babbacombe, Devon was very clean and tidy and perfect for our weekend away. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Our booking however was not quite so good. We used Cottages.com for a last minute weekend away, we booked on the Friday night and finally received confirmation on the Saturday at 3.30pm. We had to chase them for our confirmation email with details of how to obtain the key, which after several phone calls and online chats came thorough, which spoilt our start to our weekend away.

Smashing little cottage we all 3 loved. Babacombe is quieter than other resorts which suited us fine. House was lovely felt like a home from home large fridge freezer so if you want to save pennies cook your own. It’s easy access to bigger resorts and handy bus service to all areas. Our dog loved it great back garden when he could get out with no worry of escape. My 15 yr old loved it even got him off his phone Xbox that he took with him. Thumbs up from all 3 of us we will be back again. Oh and I love those wardrobes in the master bedroom I want them. Only one suggestion a little booklet with local numbers for Drs etc though hopefully not needed.Once again perfect place to stay well done Jackie and Tony

We had a lovely time.

We had a lovely time. This house was clean and tidy a real home from home. Very warm one of the best showers I’ve used. Enclosed garden our dog loved it.shops on the doorstep and a 5 minute walk up the road you are on Babbacombe front. Loads of places to visit and was lucky with the weather considering it is February. Would definitely recommend. Thank you.

The walks over the Downs for your dog is an added bonus as we could loose him off for a good run.Plus the park straight over the road for early morning duty .This is the cleanest house we have stayed in we hope to return next year.A good meal at Babbacombe Inn dog friendly as well.Nice coffee at Babbacome Cafe also dog friendly.

We have never been to Babbacombe before the the house could not be better situated, very close to the shops, park for dog and the railway/path down to the beach. The house was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Plenty of room in the sitting room for a greyhound sized bed, as well as utility room for her bowls etc. The bed was very comfortable and the shower amazing.

Only let down we were never sent the key code and sat outside for over an hour and a half trying to contact someone. Everything you needed to make a happy stay. Tony treated us to a cream tea for the inconvenience of no code. Nothing too much trouble.
