About this property

Ranch Studio in Quiet White Village Setting with shared Pool and Hot Tub

The Ranch Studio in the beautiful small village of El Ferrer offers exceptional value accommodation for 1 or 2 people. Fully equipped with its own small private terrace, and shared swimming pool and hot tub. It boasts it's own private entrance, a parking space, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom and a double bed and sofa. There is also a small terrace with a small BBQ for outdoor cooking. It also has a washing machine, very useful for long stays.

Right next door and in a quiet and secluded setting is the shared pool and hot tub.

It comes fully equipped with all you should need for your stay, including bed linen and indoor towels. Please supply your own pool/beach towels and hairdryer if required. There is no TV.

Houses are ready from 2pm on your day of arrival, and have to be vacated by 10am on your departure day.

A basic welcome pack will be provided by us with a few essential ingredients, but there are many local supermarkets, though in Spain they are closed on Sundays, so if you are planning to arrive late on a Saturday, shop before you get here.

There is good mobile phone cover in the village, and FREE WIFI in the Ranch Studio.

Idyllische Lage!

Die Unterkunft war einfach und kleiner als erwartet, wartete jedoch mit allem auf, was man braucht. Gut geeignet für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Besonders war die Lage des Dorfes, sehr idyllisch und sehr ruhig, ideal zur Entspannung! Lucy und Mike waren überaus aufmerksame und freundliche Gastgeber und haben uns bei allen Rückfragen sehr gut weitergeholfen, vielen Dank!

The place was dirty (not prepared for covid19), stains on the mattress, old appliances (some of them unsafe), very rude and bad communication with the owner. Well the worst place I ever stayed. Result of everything I left earlier, and didn't complete my stay.

Mike und Lucy sind sehr nette gastfreundliche Menschen. Die Zufahrtsstraße ist sehr steil und nur im Schritttempo zu befahren. Aber gerade das macht den Reiz von El Ferrer aus. Man fühlt sich fernab jeglicher Zivilisation. Es ist ideal um Abzuschalten und Auszuspannen. Schöner Pool und Whirlpool mit super Aussicht in die Umgebung. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder kommen. Leuke ontvangst, leuke gezellig ingericht appartement met geweldig uitzicht. Weg er maar toe is niet heel makkelijk, maar wel te doen. Zou ook zeker een tripje met Mike met de catamaran maken en dolfijnen spotten.

Absolute peace and quiet! Just what we needed!

We have just had the most peaceful, tranquil holiday we have ever had. Thank you Mike, Lucy and Rik for your care. The drive up to the studio was fabulous and what a beautiful view of the picturesque little village of El Ferrer when you get to the top. The pool and the hot tub were lovely, and a welcome relief in the heat. Rustic and quiet was what we asked for, and that’s what we got. Thank you so much.

Es hat uns gut gefallen; die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und der Whirlpool war auch toll; nur der Boden in der Wohnung war recht kalt und die Zufahrt ist abenteuerlich; mit einem größeren Fahrzeug geht das wahrscheinlich nicht; wir hatten einen Minibus; es ist eine steile, teils unbefestigte Passstraße; die Menschen dort sprechen alle Englisch; wenn man einfach mal seine Ruhe möchte, dann ist man dort an der richtigen Adresse;

magnifique studio très bien équipé il ne manquait rien petit village très calme ,mais loin de la ville mike est acceuillant et à votre arrivée il y avait le nécessaire pour le petit déjeuner , des œufs frais de son élevage et du vin de sa fabrication une terrasse trés agréable pour les repas, la piscine et jaccusi super pour se détendre apres une journée de ballade un petit chat nommé roby nous a fait la fete tout les jours et les voisins sympathique je recommande cette location

Mike moved to the area in 2001 to run a horse riding and mountain biking business. The horses and bikes were sold off in 2009 when the recession seriously affected bookings, but the charming and uniquely lovingly restored Spanish farm houses and buildings continue to be rented out in this amazing little gem of a village. Lucy joined him in 2014 and together they also own and run a luxury yacht charter business down on the beautiful Costa Tropical coastline.

Sharing the pool and hot tub with Mike and Lucy's other guests, the peace, quiet and tranquility of the little village of El Ferrer will be the exact tonic you need to unwind and re-charge your batteries for today's hectic life .

Peace and tranquility in a stunning location with great facilities and excellent hosts, but just a ten minute drive from shops, bars, restaurants and the lovely beaches of the Costa Tropical. Also a great base for walking, cycling, or exploring the unique provinces of Granada, Almeria and Malaga in the heart of Andalucia.
