St Margaret’s the ideal holiday break apartment. Recently renovated it is modern, contemporary, renovated and offers a spacious, bright base to enjoy a restful break with entertainment on your doorstep. Or, if you feel like branching out and exploring the island all transport links train , bus and car are within a 3 minute walk.
Breakfast in or out at Cafe 64 on your corner, walk round town or down to the beach and marina, then enjoy your stay.


Layout

The apartment is located on the Ground & lower Ground floor of the building - we have converted the lower ground floor into a cool Den area with sleeping for up to 4 kids - on a futon and pull out bed. - the room is accessed through the double room upstairs so suitable for kids not adults. The ceiling height is 6 foot so fab for the little-uns. The den area also its own shower room and toilet giving this apartment 2 bathrooms.

All amenities are available, TV, WiFi, DVD, games etc perfect for friends and family.
The bedroom is at the rear of the apartment, large double bed, fireplace and dressing table.

The ground floor bathroom has a bath and over bath shower.

1 x Double bed in the main bedroom
1 x Futon & 1 x Pull out bed (Day bed style - 2 singles) - this is in our nautical themed lower deck that has its own shower room and toilet - this room is on the lower ground floor and accessed through the main bedroom,


Local Area

St Margaret’s is located half way up George Street just 5 minutes walk from the Esplanade. It is ideally suited near the centre of town with the variety of cafes, restaurants and shops. The Beach is a 10 minute walk away as is the marina.


Getting there

If you are traveling to the island without a car this is perfectly possible - you are better getting either the hovercraft from Southsea or the Catamaran from Portsmouth Harbour train station - George St is about a 5-10 minute walk uphill from the Hovercraft or the Esplanade train station.
if you are bringing a vehicle Ryde is slightly nearer Fishbourne ( Portsmouth - Fishbourne - Wightlink)
Than (Southampton-Cowes - Red Funnel)

St. Margaret’s is half way up George Street if come from the Newport/Cowes direction enter George Street from the top of the town. If coming from Sandown/Shanklin go to the Seafront and drive towards the pier , George Street is the left turn before you reach the pier


Accessibility

As there is an internal flight of stairs to the Lower Deck Den so the property its unlikely to be suited to people with mobility issues.
