Great place for relaxation and sightseeing
Our family of four (two boys 11 and 14 yo) stayed here for two weeks end of July/beginning of August and the house was perfect for us. It was clean and well-kept. We had a lot of meals at the house and the kitchen worked well for that, with both fridge+freezer, oven+stove. The outdoor area was good spaced, and felt private and comfortable. It has a well covered parking space, three different furniture groups, a hammock and some sun chairs- in the sun as well as in the shade. There is an outdoor shower which was practical when coming back from the beach. The area the house is situated in is very nice, quiet and secure. It only takes a couple of minutes to get to the closest beach by car, as well as to other beaches and snorkling spots nearby- Cala Rossa was a favorite. There is a great pizza and mini golf place just up the road from the house, and several nice restaurants up in Scopello. The house is in a good place for sightseeing. We had a rental car and could easily get to destinations like Castellmare del Golfo, Segesta, Alcamo, San Vito lo Capo, Selinunte and Marsala. Our host was generous with tips and recommendations during our stay, and was very fast to reply if we had questions. Checking in/out went smooth. Unfortunately, due to illness, we didn’t meet our host in person. Instead the arranged for some helpful and friendly neighbours/friends who showed us what we needed to know. We had a wonderful vacation here and can highly recommend this house, area and host.
