An authentic “furnieddhri”, surrounded by well-tended gardens and just 6 minutes from the Ionian Sea, this is a perfect holiday retreat. The independent suite is part of an exclusive resort and sleeps up to 3 people in comfort. It is an ideal base for exploring southern Puglia and the beautiful Salento peninsula.
“Furnieddhri” or “trulli”, as they are also known, are only found in Puglia. Made of local stone the suite\'s rustic exterior hides an elegant, airy bedroom, full of light thanks to several large windows. The double, four-poster bed is made of delicate wrought iron and there is a single bed to sleep 1 guest. There is a cosy banquette, a flat-screen TV, large wardrobe and a glass, laptop-friendly workspace.

The beautiful bathroom, made of pale Ostuni stone, is equipped with a glass shower, bidet, basin and WC.
The suite has a private terrace, with a café-style table and chairs. It is ideal for guests who want to relax with a cup of coffee or a glass of excellent local wine. Or guests can enjoy the communal seating areas, under the shade of fragrant pine trees.

The fine white sand with gentle sloping shores make this coast particularly appealing for families with children.
Just 10 minutes away is the charming town of Nardo, with its Baroque squares and winding streets, which have yet to be overwhelmed by tourists. It is a food paradise and has many excellent restaurants serving fresh local food.
Further down the Ionian coast, the historic town of Gallipoli (15 minutes) is a very popular tourist destination during the summer months. In Greek, Gallipoli means “beautiful city” and the town does not disappoint. The town’s ancient walls soar over the harbour and fishing port. There are many excellent restaurants in the town, serving the freshest catch of the day. It makes a fascinating day out.
The closest airport is at Brindisi - just under an hour away by car.
