Siena City Centre, a neighbourhood in Siena, is home to this apartment. Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena and Oratorio di San Bernardino e Museo Diocesano are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Frateria di Padre Eligio and Teatro dei Rozzi. Fisiocritici Onlus Academy Natural History Museum and Siena Circuit are also worth visiting.
Wonderful gem in an excellent location walking distance to everything but tucked away on a quiet street. Bright and airy with charm and all the amenities you need. Clean and comfortable. Host responds quickly and assists with anything you need. Great choice!
The apartment was wonderful and the location was great. The only issue was that the wifi didn't work and the owner promised to get it fixed the next day but then was unable to.
The location is perfect. Kitchen had everything you would need. Bedrooms are large and living room was comfortable. Nadia our host was very responsive and wonderful. We would stay here again.
Property was clean but cold and old. It’s in the historic district. We asked management to turn on heat. They did it with a medical stipulation. There was a town rule that the heat could not be turned on until November 8. We were there late October. The weather was cold and rainy. Not good ventilation in bathroom so smelled musty. Mattress was thin, we took mattress from spare bed to place on top off bed we slept in. It was close to shopping and restaurants
Our host was amazing and responded quickly with all of our questions. She went above and beyond throughout our stay. Their is plenty of room to spread out throughout this charming apartment. The washer was a wonderful addition and helped us clean our clothes half way through our vacation. The location was on a quiet street just a short walk away from restaurants, shops and a grocery store. The property doesn't have traditional air conditioning, but does provide fans which kept us cool enough. We would definitely recommend.

Apartment was as described; however, the beds were uncomfortable and need to be updated. The biggest issue was that the whole apartment smelled like stale smoke, which is a very big issue for us non-smokers. We communicated with the manager who addressed it with air freshener immediately but it didn’t work - it needs a deeper clean. Location was good on a quiet street near the main square and check in was easy with good communication. Note, no AC but that’s in the listing.
Perfect place for experiencing the Palio. Heart of the Girffa Contrada (ie Neighborhood). Historic building close to the Campo and Duomo and other sites in Siena. Large apartment with two bedrooms and a pull out couch which worked perfect for our family of five. Kitchen was equipped with necessities for cooking with supermarkets like Conad close by if you are looking to eat in. Lots of restaurants and bakeries near by for eating out. Couple things to look out for: during Palio season the streets will be loud late into the night but totally worth it to be in the middle of it all... but might be a challenge you are a light sleeper. Not an issue with the appartment... the whole city is celebrating the event. Other thing to plan around if coming in August is the heat. The apartment doesn't have AC as indicated in the description. It's not common in Siena. It does have fans and we found taking showers and making sure to open windows at night too cool the apartment went a long way to keeping us comfortable. (Side note: Towels were soft and water pressure was great). Check in was easy with clear instructions from the owner. One other thing to be aware of which is different from staying at a hotel/North America is that you need to take out your garbage. We didn't find it too difficult as it just meant putting it outside the main building doors on the right day, but just wanted to share for awareness. Over all very happy and greatful for a truly unique experience.
