It was amazing. We all enjoyed our space since there was plenty of it. The hot tub was great. The neighborhood was awesome! The house was amazing. We loved every minute of our stay
Quite clean, beautifully furnished, wonderful deck and fire pit. Suited perfectly our family reunion of 6 adults and 3 kids- each family had a private area to call their own (master suite on main floor, 3 bedrooms upstairs, plus a lovely unit above the garage.)
We had the best time here. Ben was very accommodating and responsive, and we loved the property. Everything was super organized and comfortable, and we truly loved our stay. Highly recommend this listing for anyone looking in this area - you won’t be disappointed!
Lovely property. Plenty of room for 10. Kitchen / living area perfect for the gang to enjoy. Very responsive hosts- few bumps and they remedied immediately once they knew of issues. Would love to stay again!
Our family gathered from East and West. We were able to relax and have fun, axe throwing, swimming, bicycling, hiking and just enjoying a comfortable mountain retreat. I would stay in this lovely home again. Yakima family
The house was the perfect size and layout for our family over the holiday. Kitchen was well appointed and all the spaces were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit and the heated garage with ping pong was a great bonus for kids (and adults). The host was very responsive and friendly. We'd definitely book here again.
My friends and I rented this house for a Girls' Weekend and it was perfect! There was plenty of space for us all to hang out and eat meals together. The kitchen was very well stocked! Great communication with the owner making check-in/check-out very easy. Overall, no complaints about this house and would definitely rent it again!
Great place for a family of 9 (three generations) to vacation for the week. Close to water and the mountains. Grandparents had their own place above the garage. We spent a good deal of time on the back patio…. Dining, enjoying evening fires, and reading during the day.
The home we rented was perfect for our family. It snowed the first day and stayed with us until the day we left. Area streets were plowed. And there were plenty of snowshoe and cross country trails to enjoy. Ben was quick to respond when we had a question. We would definitely stay here again.
The property owner was very accommodating and responses for our needs. We celebrated a birthday during our time there and all were enamored with the property, house, amenities, and decor. The check out / clean-up process was simple as well. The owners have thought of everything! The direction book for the house is a wonderful resource! Thank you so much for helping my hubby have the best 50th birthday celebration!
There were a few issues, the trash/recycle situation wasn't ideal, the hot tub needed attention, the live edge table outside and the main table inside both need TLC. All that said, the owner was responsive and very positive. The house is beautiful, it's tucked away in the trees, very private from neighbors. Suncadia is breathtaking, the paths and trails are amazing. The river is a short hike from the back door. Overall a nice family vacation.
We enjoyed our stay. The TV wasn't working in the bedroom over the garage so I emailed the owner. He responded very fast and had someone stop by and fix the problem ASAP. Definitely would recommend this home.
Our stay was excellent! The home was as portrayed in the profile. Great hiking was out the back door. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet. The home held all who visited easily and was well equipped. We will be back and it’s likely to be an annual vacay spot!
Our experience was very positive! We loved the fact that the house was pet-friendly! They provided everything needed to enjoy the stay (hot tub/pool towels, beach bags, utensils for cooking, extra blankets, toys), just to name a few. Everything was really clean and well-maintained. The owner was very responsive during our check-in process and the decor is a gorgeous, modern farmhouse style. Will definitely stay here again!! Highly recommend!
Great high end house, with all the amenities. Wonderful grand room layout with high open ceilings. Lots of room upstairs. Lovely master suite and bath on the main floor.
Even the simple touches like a terrific on demand coffee maker! Tasty espresso at that touch of button!
Thx!
Overall a great stay over the Christmas holiday, despite winter storm conditions (more snow than anyone expected!). Hosts were very responsive. We had three generations staying at the house and everyone had a great time. The house is extremely clean and the spaces are very functional. Lots of bathrooms, lots of bedrooms, nice mix of public/private spaces. The over-the-garage apartment is great if you have a small family who wants a separate area to put kids down, etc. The kitchen was pretty well equipped, with good quality knives and cookware (definitely not the chaos jumble of junk that most rentals have). The beds and bedding were super comfortable. The holiday decorations were great! The TV situation is kinda cool, is huge but also out of the way: we didn't know where it was at first... and then noticed it above the fireplace!
The major downside was the hot tub was broken. Based on the reviews, it's been broken on/off for over a month before our stay, but the host only told us a couple of days beforehand. The repair person came out the day before we departed but it still wasn't fixed. If you don't care about the hot tub, no big deal. If that's a reason you're renting this house, then make sure to check in a week beforehand and set the expectation that it should be working.
Misc stuff to know, minor things to improve:
* You can only do one can of garbage... but both cans of garbage were full already! We put ours on top. At this price point just have the cleaners take the garbage out instead of putting that on the guests.
* Suncadia doesn't recycle any paper but cardboard - anything else pushes into your 1-can garbage budget. The recycling can was full already too, and had garbage in it. So I had a not-fun time of going through other people's trash and sorting it properly, just so we would have room for our recycling.
* The Suncadia snowplow clears the roads but doesn't clear the driveway and driveway entrance. It does the exact opposite: creates a snow/ice wall blocking you in/out every day. So if there's significant snow falling, be ready to shovel it clear daily.
* The master bedroom is on the main floor, and everything else is upstairs, in case you have mobility-limited ppl joining or small children.
No place is perfect, but this house was super comfortable with responsive hosts, and was a great stay in a winter wonderland!
This property has plenty of space to sleep and have fun. The communication with the property manager was amazing. Hot tub had issues in the beginning that was rectified pretty quickly mid stay. Main issue was the furniture/Ping pong table in the MIL and in the garage facility was broken, worn down, stained and in HUGE need of replacement. Also the kitchen utsensils, pots/pans need some replacement too. Missing some kitchen appliances (like a hand mixer, etc) that we needed for making Thanksgiving dinner and are used to having at the nicer rentals. Wear and tear is common for a short term rental, but it's time to replace some of these items. Otherwise, the house is nice, in a great location. Property owner was very responsive and enjoyable to communicate with.
